A Led Zeppelin Tour without Robert Plant?Forum Discussion for A Led Zeppelin Tour without Robert Plant? 123next ›last » Submitted by Dave M. on Thu, 04/24/2008 - 14:47
Well it's pretty easy to fix, Jimmy should announce that he is negotiating with Mr Coverdale as vocalist, if you remember it didn't take Robert too long to get back with Jimmy after the Page/Coverdale album was released Submitted by Serena M. on Thu, 04/24/2008 - 08:48
it just wouldnt be the right without him!!! come on Robert!we're begging you!!! Submitted by Augustina W. on Thu, 04/24/2008 - 05:56
I love Robert Plant. He has to come along... Come on, Robbie, Pleeeeaasssseee! Submitted by kermarrec j. on Sat, 04/05/2008 - 09:15
I saw page playing with the black crows( the video's on the net)and it really was strong, still i'd rather see the two old mates together, but the black crows singer 's voice reaches higher pitch than r. Plant's. Submitted by zeppmama d. on Sat, 03/29/2008 - 01:59
Now this- here's the REAL truth behind why Robert won't tour with Zeppelin: He says he: "sang his nuts off" and says it was weird that the "personality of the audience has changed from those days when everybody was in the same condition as the band. Now it was more like the 68th wonder of the world rather than a gig. So I felt a bit embarrassed." Embarassed? Embarassed to sing his songs to THREE generations of FANS? That's low. Today I just read that there are NO plans to release the O2 concert on DVD. Will the suffering never end? Submitted by steve m. on Mon, 03/24/2008 - 05:40
i've been a zeppelin fan for 30 something years. was a big lose with john bonham with no robert plant there is no led zeppelin Submitted by zeppmama d. on Wed, 03/26/2008 - 21:12
I can't see someone else singing Stairway to Heaven besides Robert, but it's more accurate to say if there were no JIMMY PAGE, there would be no Led Zeppelin. Submitted by zeppmama d. on Sat, 03/22/2008 - 13:10
Now that Plant has a platinum album and a Grammy with Alison K, we'll never see him anytime soon! I hope I'm wrong, but it ain't lookin' good... Submitted by Antony W. on Sat, 03/22/2008 - 09:35
Can't reaaly wait 27 years, and doubt they'll hold out that long, but Zep without Plant aint Zep. Hey hey Robert, shift your ass and move: make us sweat, make us groove! Submitted by reg r. on Mon, 03/17/2008 - 19:36
there is no zep without planty its the combination of talent that gave birth to the greatest rock band of all time, lucky jhons son is talented enough to make his father proud,i have met robert plant several times and he loves his fans and hates the media, given time to finish his commitments im sure he would repay his fans for there loyalty over the years and do a world tour as long as jason does not crap in shoes and handbags like his old man lol Submitted by zeppmama d. on Tue, 03/18/2008 - 15:43
Well, if I said it in Italian, I'll say it in English: The time for action is now. (ps-And only R. Cole could come up with that absurd tale about Bonzo taking a dumper in Jimmy Page's girlfriend's purse. Yes, I read Uncensored, and I'm convinced Cole wrote it on the loo smokin' a crack pipe.) Plant ha rotto...., Jimmi e John scrivete nuove canzoni e poi fatele sentire a robert e speriamo bene che si convinca a partecipare... Altrimenti uscite con la sigla Page & Jones e fateci sognare con un nuovo disco. Submitted by zeppmama d. on Mon, 03/17/2008 - 14:36
Si forse. Il momento di agire`e adesso. Grazie! Submitted by Shannon M. on Sat, 03/08/2008 - 21:30
ok Robert Page should just give up a year for Led Zeppelin to do one last tour Submitted by zeppmama d. on Sun, 03/09/2008 - 01:48
Yeah, it would be nice to hear him use his voice for ZEPPELIN songs instead of country bluegrass left over songs from T Bone Burnett's record collection. Submitted by Shannon M. on Sat, 03/08/2008 - 21:27
PLEASE ROBERT PAGE! PLEASE JUST GIVE LED ZEPPELIN ONE MORE TOUR! COME TO OHIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LEDD ZEPPELIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Submitted by ILEANA B. on Sat, 03/08/2008 - 15:47
How could this EVEN be a thought!!! NO F*****G WAY!!! Submitted by Texcatlipoca X. on Thu, 03/06/2008 - 22:42
C´mon Bobby, dont touch my balls now, i have bee waiting on queue 27 **** years Submitted by Elwood S. on Thu, 03/06/2008 - 17:59
They didn't replace Bonzo, they shouldn't replace Robert Plant. Led Zeppelin isn't just a name, it's a fixture; even with Bonzo's son it wouldn't quite be the real thing. Submitted by zeppmama d. on Fri, 03/07/2008 - 19:51
We're not talking about The Who here, replacing Keith Moon 8 months after he died. It's been over 27 years since Bonzo's death and it's time to move on dot org. Jason kicked arse at the O2 concert, btw. He's as close as it gets and he's "family." (Robert Plant's quote, not mine) PS- since Robert's NOT dead, there shouldn't be any guilt on the band's part to replace his a** unlike it was with Bonzo's untimely departure. Submitted by Darren G. on Mon, 03/03/2008 - 23:00
I think they should use different singers, such as Jack Russell, Michael White, Paul Rodgers & David Coverdale to do shows with Jimmy, John Paul & Jason when Mr Plant isn't around, Led Zeppelin and Friends Submitted by zeppmama d. on Fri, 03/07/2008 - 19:47
Correction: "An Evening With Led Zeppelin- and NEW Best Friends." Makes a great ticket title, doesn't it? Submitted by Jean L. on Mon, 03/03/2008 - 21:09
i can only say that NOBODY can replace Plant's place. After all, he hasnt literally said that he is not touring, he just said he had other commitments. I hope he agrees to go touring. I understand that his voice is not the same and that a 50-or-so countries on chart would mean a repetion of the old classics every day...but i believe they've got to see that their music and influence has no limits, it has reached every single corner over this planet. They've marked my way of understanding the music and personally i dont believe there's any vocalist and frontman that can compare to Robert Plant. I dont care how he sings now, he is the best anyways. The three of them, now of course, have so much chemistry between them when on the stage, and have the ability to share such a feeling with the audience that certainly, no member can be replaceable. That's all i have to say for now Submitted by zeppmama d. on Tue, 03/04/2008 - 02:34
Yeah, and it's a %@#! shame we ALL have to suffer for R.P.'s latest reincarnation. It's just blankin' wrong. Submitted by Anna W. on Sat, 03/01/2008 - 06:23
Let's get it straight! There can be no Led Zeppelin without John Henry Bonham, For a tour to co-opt the band's name, both of the main members of the song writing team would HAVE to be present. Otherwise, I'm sure a tour entitled "Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones" would sell out anyway. Maybe R.P, could agree to be a special guest at the really big shows, where there would be ROOM and several nights for the MILLIONS of FANS to have a chance to see them. Submitted by zeppmama d. on Sat, 03/01/2008 - 23:24
Since Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were the primary music writers, the LED Zeppelin title can continue ad infinitum. Criteria has been met, therefore problem has been solved. Submitted by stanley z. on Tue, 02/26/2008 - 23:55
are you cracking up!! if he is a no show, thats it. party is over. Loading People... |
