When I was in my early 20's, I saw Adam Ant live in NYC (where I grew up) at The Ritz Club, if memory serves me right. It was probably the early '80's but can't remember exact date.. I think its cute that a 17 year old likes a band from my generation, but the best New Wave bands of those days were The Pretenders, The Police, Elvis Costello, The Clash, Blondie, The Ramones, B52's, etc. and ofcourse the great U2. Check those out. I feel sorry for your generation missing out on the incomparable music of the 1970's. It was all over by early '80s. Music hasn't been the same since. Take it from one who's been there, even if I'm middleaged. ha ha
