Intended Recipient:Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Description:CONGRATULATIONS HEATH! WISH YOU WERE HERE TO ENJOY THE ACCOLADES! THANKS EVERYONE! Dark Knight’s success was expected, and if you were lucky enough to see the movie you probably are still experiencing the after effects of the late Heath Ledger’s terrifying performance as the “Joker”. An Oscar nomination is inevitable for Ledger and I think it is safe (and sad) to say that he is the James Dean of this generation. Only one star has won an Oscar from beyond the grave (Peter Finch, Network in '76) so we shall see if the statue will go to Heath early next year. I have not read one bad review of Ledger… even The New Yorker gave him a rave (and that says a lot). With all due respect, this is one hellava way to go out.

I loved his performance, better acting is hard to find!
Heath deserves an award for the Joker. Just because he passed away, doesn't mean this amazing roll should go unknown and unawarding. He made the Joker into something that no one in the past ever has. He made him REAL. It was like you could go out and find him in the real world somewhere he was that convincing. Heath has done some amazing rolls but the Joker took the cake. It showed us all that he has way more talent then many think. He's an amazing actor and I feel his last BIG roll and screen appearance should be rewarded. :) I'd vote for him to get an oscar for the Joker, in the Dark Knight
having seen the film, I have to agree with Sir michael Caine, who is adept at recognizing superior film acting and would dearly like to see Heath Ledger's name beside Peter Finch's as a posthumous winner of an Oscar.

Oi, my name is Ana, i live in Lisbon, Portugal and i am a big fan of Heath Ledger , since i saw him for the first time in 10 things i hate about you, i falling in love, and since that i falling his carrer, he made a great´s movie´s like for exemple 4 father´s, Ned Kelly, Patrot, Signt Eather , our other´s i make many flims a good films, and this short carrer e need a Oscar for him and to this fans all over the globe.
kiss and i miss him vary mutch and now i can´t see any movie with him, because i start to cry.
