9 Pledges
  • Start Date:
    1-19-2007
  • Last Pledge:
    11-21-2009

Issue:

Polycabonate which is usually used in our water containers and for food storages, releases “endocrine disrupters” in high temperature that will slowly poison us with frequent use.

Belief:

The U.S government must have stricter standards for the amount of chemicals that are allowed to leach out of plastics to avoid americans, and the rest of the world, from slowly poisoning their very own self.

I pledge to...

6 Pledges
using containers which are not made of polycarbonate.
3 Pledges

Which substance is meant by Polycarbonate #7? Carbonates come in huge variety, from totally harmless to very poisonous. What kind of endocrine disrupters are released? How warm or hot is 'high temperature'? I am not going to pledge without knowing the facts.
