Over 40% of homes with children have a gun, many of which are kept unlocked or loaded. Just talking to your child about the dangers of firearms is not enough. Children are naturally curious. If a gun is accessible in someone's home, there is a good chance a child will find it and play with it.

Belief:

The ASK campaign encourages parents to ASK if there are guns in the homes where their children play. It is a simple idea that is undoubtedly saving lives. The ASK campaign provides opportunities for community groups, healthcare organizations and individuals to help ensure the safety of our children.
