ok, so basically ive been buying free range eggs ONLY for about 6 months now, and i managed to bully my parentals into buying free range for the motel we own. excellent. =)

but i want other people to do this too. did you know that over 90% of American eggs are cage/battery eggs? (i dont have any australian stats.) this means that all those chickens are living out their short, agonising lives in a space smaller than an A4 paper. they have their beaks clipped (debeaking) when they are chicks, with no anaesthetic. personally, this makes me sick to my stomach.

so yeah. if you care about chickens at all, pledge to this thing and spend a few extra dollars on free range, or plead with your parents, or whatever. but NEVER EAT BATTERY EGGS AGAIN!!! free range taste better anyway.
