Buffy. For one her love was always forbidden because she was meant to slay them not fall for one. Secondly she has a very diverse personality and can save herself and others more often than not. Sure Bella can NOW she's a vampire but that's still not the same thing at all. But power isn't everything, Buffy surrounds herself with family and friends, relies on them and supports them. You can't get better than such a caring and focused person. Bella only has eyes and thoughts for Edward and her daughter. lol! Ok well thats all I have to say.

Bella cuz in the last book she does not need a whole lot of protection and she ends up protecting eveyone in the last book

I love the Twilight series and I love Buffy, but as far as these two characters go, Buffy is more decisive and she can kick ass. She doesn't have to be protected all the time!
