ROBERT IS NOT EDWARD!
when Edward wrote the song for Bella, he was in love with her and that where most of the inspiration came from (their lover, well his love) and since Robert doesn't LOVE Kristen, then really it doesn't matter. since the lullaby won't be inspired by anything other than Robert felt like writing it.
so for me, it doesn't really matter, since both Robert's and Carter's music won't be anything more than a job.

Carter Burwell is an actual song write, he will have more experience in this area, although I think Robert may also be great at it HE IS NOT EDWARD. So even he does or doesn't write the song it shouldn't affect the movie one bit. Saying that he wrote it for Bella is not true. HE IS ROBERT!! He wrote the song on a whim. I am not saying he is a bad nor a good composer, i would like to hear before I judge.

Can't anyone tell me how to find the two versions?! I would really love to hear them both.

I agree with Coryna G. completly. This is the only way it should be.

I haven't heard any of the lullabys if they are already out but come one, we should get robert into character even further by putting his lullaby on the screen!

I think that Robert is doing a wonderful job as Edward. We are very lucky to have Edward be played by an actor that is also a musician. I just feel that it would be awesome if Robert's version of Bella's lullaby was atleast in the soundtrack!!!!

I think robs piece should be in the movie. The lullaby edward wrote for bella was personal .. having rob write it instead of some random person is wrong. It would make the chemistry of the 2 actors deeper. It would make the movie 10x better.

i liked the original better than the other one so i think u guys should put in the original one in the movie because i can't wait till it comes out cause i really want to see it i have read all 4 of the books and i love them all!!

i think the first one is the best becouse its like edward did it in the book ha didnt sing it he just played it and besides they are just trying to screw up the series and if they screw this up ima be pretty mad i love the books and if stephenie meyer dont continue with midnight sun either then im gonna be pretty mad every one is looking forward to it and i wish she would continue with it!

I'm not really fussed who's version of the lullaby they use, but it better the better one. I somehow dont believe that roberts would be as good as this Carter Burwell guy, it might just be because it's his job to compose music and all but i think robert should stick to acting...I LOVE TWILIGHT

I have heard a bunch of different versions and im not sure which one is roberts... so i have no idea but the one they said was rob's was...in my oppinon not the right song ..it was to fast but i dont know if it's the right version.

Bella's Lullaby......... My favorite part of the book because of the lullaby and when I heard that Robert Pattinson was going to compose the actual lullaby was overwhelmed because I thought it would have been more sacramental for all the Edward/Robert fans like me out there..... I must say I'm disappointed that they might not be using his, it doesn't seem right
