Description:Issue:            Ok so I wish I could come up with more non Buffy related campaigns. Consequently YouChoose is about passion and I am really only passionate about a few things, namely movies, beer, food, and Buffy the Vampire slayer. So in reading the comments about the struggle between Spike and Angel I learned that A. there are a lot of people out there just as obsessed with the show as I am and B. these two characters are extremely dynamic. But this vote is not about their lovey dovy side. This vote is about their dark side. Belief:Judging from most of the comments I have read I don’t really need to explain anything to you guys, you know the plot and the characters. I have decided to add a few other bad guys to this vote to make it more interesting. The question is, who is the all time best Villain from Buffy? Is it Spike, Angelus, Drusilla, Darla, The Master, Faith, or Trick? Those are some of my personal favorites. I am going to add an other category this time so that you can pledge other, write in your own choice, and why in a comment below. Vote Amendment:            Due to public outcry I have added two more villains to the list. These would be Glory and The First Evil. There is no picture of the first evil so … well scroll down and you’ll see. These are the last additions I will make because the list is getting too long and I don’t want the vote spreading to thin. Anyone who voted for other, or another character, and wants to change their vote can do so by clicking on the other character and clicking change vote.  Loading People... |

Spike had the best one liners, good or bad, but my fav would have to be Dru...she was so crazy I just loved her. I wish there had been more of her.
I choose Caleb. Everybody loves the cap'n. He was very evil!!!

Where is the Mayor?! Best season, BEST villian. Germaphobe and girlscout lover, demented father figure and megalomaniac. So great. I'm not voting til he's up here.
How does Caleb not rank as one of the best Villain? There was never a villain I hated more for being so evil.
No wait, I got a better example: Caleb. He was wicked - he gouged Xander's eye out, remember?! And he slayed many slayers (the potentials, but slayers nonetheless) by just breaking their necks. Let's not forget that he was played by the excellent Nathan Fillion, too.
Oh, and also: how can the Gentlemen not be on the list, either? They were the most creepiest villains of the entire series.

if you are going for most brutal as the best villian then you would have to go for angelous because he was around a long time before caleb was and cause way more greif and pain than caleb ever did.
How could you not list the Mayor?! He may have been a villain who never got his hands dirty (he was a germaphobe, if you recall) and was behind the scenes for the most part, he was still pretty evil. His wicked sense of humor and he became that big worm-like creature at the end of Season 3.
I definitely agree with Molly Y.Angelus just had the whole villian thing down.Has the sexiest eyes,lol.
Its tough, but I'll definitely have to say Angelus. Not only was he a total badass, but he had the whole psychological torment down pat. If there is one way to get to the Slayer...sleep with her first. Also....the leather pants were yummy.

Tough choice but i'll have to say the first as the first is the ultimate evil. Beyond that i'd go with Glory. Willow also made a great bad guy. too bad she's not a choice.
So having the option to vote for Spike, I had to, only because he was the most fun, but I'm with Katie M on this. There's too many to choose from but had there been a slot for "the Trio", I'd have voted for them. They were the funniest and caused the most damage, I mean Tara dead=Big Bad Willow. And Caleb easily kicks Trick's ass.
Wow - stating 1 top villain is next to impossible. So here is my "top 5" list: 1. Angelus: pure evil while taking pleasure in it (i.e. nailing puppies to walls and telling Fred he is going to rape her to death (on Angel S4). 2. Spike: Sexy young vampire seeks a good brawl, blood and smokes. 3. The Master: Fruit punch mouth, dry sarcasm and the first "Big Bad" of the series. 4. The trio: evil geniuses with a penchant for wreaking havoc and Star Wars (way cool). 5. Caleb: Super creepy preacher (need I say more) (played by one hot Nathan Fillian - yummy). And that's just major "Big Bads" if your talking best villain of the week then here are my "top 5" 1. The Gentlemen: any demon that floats 1 1/2 feet off the ground and smiles while cutting out your heart (wins my vote) 2. Gnarl: the dude strips off your skin like a large order of fries after he has paralyzed you 3. Dracula: turned Xander into a "Spider eating man bitch" he he! 4. Turok-Han/ Ubervamp (Camden Toy is awesome as these bad guys!)

Ya Ya - I know the question was for THE best villain (singular) but like I said - it's next to impossible to narrow to one!
the first owned an entire season, much like glory. but see--the first still exists, glory does not. no bad guy ever survived buffy's hardcore wrath, but the first will always exist. end game.
Angelus is waay good to with the love string still atached to buffy he pulled her for a ride mentaly and physicaly!
i know girl on girl was cheesy
but i loved gloria
she was the only real one to whoop buffys but over and over one on one hand to hand!!!

Angelus was manically brilliant. He went for the hurt before he went for the kill. Given more time, there's no telling what else he could have done.
Drusilla COULD have been a far greater villain, if she had been given the opportunity. As insane as she was, I would have loved to see the damage she could have done.
Angelic by far...the psychological games he played were just fantastic.

I'm sorry I can't put in the nerds. In my opinion they were lame ass and a horrible plot device. She had just faced a god for god sakes. Their only validity was comic relief.
The First is a close second.

Angelus was a good villain because he was the most distressing villain for the characters and the audience.
What about The Trio? They're nerds, yes, but think about the havoc that Warren causes. Or Evil Willow?! She's pretty scary too.
I think the ones that are closest to the Scooby Gang are the best.
What about Glory! How in the world could you not include Glory! She kicks some serious ASS!
Fine, the people have spoken. This is the last one I am adding though. With the addition of Glory the vote will be up to 10 choices. Any more and it will be spread to thin. Tell your freinds if they voted for other and wanted glory they can come back and change their vote.
