Blood Ties fans all over the world banded together to donate glasses for the Lions Club. May was the Lions Club "Recycle for Sight" month and the Blood Ties fans donated over 200 pairs of prescription glasses & sunglasses, Non-prescription sunglasses and reading glasses.

Vicki Nelson, the lead character on Blood Ties, was the inspiration for this campagin. Vicki wears glasses and is contending with a degenerative eye disease.

Lifetime needs to GET THEIR HEADS out of the sand. Blood Ties was the BEST show they had !!!!! If they don't bring it back WE WILL NO LONGER WATCH Lifetime TV. There was QUITE A LOT of us who watched Blood Ties and they'll lose our viewership if it's not brought back.They really need to start listening to their viewers before they lose them all !!!!!!!

sounds like blood ties and moonlight are kind of cross promoting each other. This is great that they are both working to save one another and/or that the fans of both shows are working together to bring them back. I support anything to do with the supernatural world. I hope this works out because I crave these shows and anything like em. To cancel them is like denying a drug addict their fix. Blood ties and moonlight are my addiction.

Please continue with Blood Ties. Also, I have Direct TV and since Blood Ties is not being shown on the regular Lifetime channel, I am not able to see it. PLEASE KEEP IT AND RETURN IT TO THE LIFETIME CHANNEL

I've never liked a show this much before. It is also the only thing I watched on Lifetime. A strong women lead, great acting, very good chemistry, and wonderful writing. Other than a bit more promotion you have a big winner here. Please make season 3, we will all be waiting.

Along with getting rid of BLOOD TIES, i'm just waiting for the day the get rid of DEXTER too. But, as said numerous times below they get rid of the good ones and keep all the crap shows. WHY IS THIS?!!! They also got rid of KINDRED-THE EMBRACED which was also fabulous! **** THEM! Whoever they are.

Sorry, but why all the great series cancel and remaining rubbish stays tuned. I can`t understand it. this is very thrilling, funny the actors played perfectly their part and the storyine is amazing .. and even you can`t stop. i can`t stand another great serie just go away. that`s if you make more i watch ... fine!!!!

i love the series and i've even started reading the books. too many shows have been cancelled without ever even reaching their peak. I would hate for such a good show like blood ties to be cancelled because of idiotic producers who can't see a good thing when it's right in front of them.

I agree...Seasons one and two should be on DVD! I have had to miss a couple episodes but I love the show!!!! I want to be able to watch them whenever!!!! Please? A portions of the cost could go to the Lions Club!

I cant believe the show got cancelled. I loved this show soo much and it seems like all the shows that feature "different" or otherworldy type of subjects are always cut. For example, Blood Ties, Moonlight, and Blade.. all about vampires. What the hell? They just want to make room for reality TV because that's all that the mindless drones watch these days.

Lifetime needs to realize what they have. More often then not they cancel really good series for no real reason. Bloodties is an amazing show and deserves a lot more respect then they gave it. I've noticed the trend of really good shows being in either their 9 or 10pm slot on Sundays being cancelled prematurely (Angela's Eyes, Wild Card, Missing)If the ratings aren't what they expect (which I highly doubt) its probably because people dont want to start watching a show thats just going to get cancelled for no good reason. Bring back Bloodties!!!!!!
