Bring Back Larry Mendte113 Signatures
Intended Recipient:Philadelphia Network News Description:We, the undersigned, want to see Larry Mendte return to network news in Philadelphia. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CLICK THIS LINK AFTER YOU'VE PLEDGED YOUR SUPPORT FOR LARRY IN ORDER TO SEND EMAILS TO FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC AND COMCAST EXECUTIVES! After receiving his sentence of six months house arrest, community service and a $5,000 fine for illegally reading the e-mails of his former co-anchor, Alycia Lane, Larry stated, "From the beginning I took responsibility for what I did and I knew there was going to be a punishment," he said. "I never shirked my responsibility. I am going to relish the second chance, and I am going to do everything to earn back the respect and the trust that I lost." For over a decade, Larry Mendte was the most visible anchor in Philadelphia winning 70 Emmy Awards, 4 Edward R Murrow Awards and was probably the most active news anchor on behalf of charities and non-profit organizations. Mendte, a hometown guy whose first job in the news business was delivering the Evening Bulletin as a boy, took special pleasure in the fact that, as an adult, he was still delivering the evening news in Philadelphia. Raised in Lansdowne (Delaware County) Mendte graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School and has been inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. He received his B.A. degree in Communications from West Chester University and has been awarded the school's distinguished alumni award and the President's medal for community service. Mendte is involved in over 30 local charities, including Alex's Lemonade Stand. Mendte and his wife, Fox 29 Anchor Dawn Stensland, make their home in Philadelphia with their four children. I was impressed by the way he came clean about the whol things and accepted his punishment. He did wrong, but I found honor in the way he handled it.
I don't believe he is narcissistic, I believe him when he says he was trying to protect his family.
I am impressed at the way he Came Clean and told the truth. Nobody does that.
mendte:textbook narcissist--stensland:classic enabler with esteem issues or pathlogical denial
you'll are idiots because you would be so pissed if your co-worker went through your e-mail and sent things to different people.
Larry Mendte should never have been let go in the first place. I'm sure he was just trying to protect himself from the evil Alicia Lane. Please give him a second chance, he deserves it. It' the people of the Delaware Valley's loss. I changed news channels when he left. Thanks, Beth Hanley
