the camaro is decent but we really need the trans am... im really dissipointed in gm for not bringing it back yet

BRING BACK MY BABY!!!! I really want GM to get there act together and bring back Pontiac!!! Hands down and without saying, Firebird.... My GREATEST and foundest memoreies is driving my dads 1978 Pontiac Trans Am, if you would listen to him you would know it as well!!! The first car I ever drove was a 1978 Trans Am, brown outside an tan inside, w/t-tops... I truely miss that car an them time...really wish i could go back to then, hell, at least pontiac made there own engines and parts, didnt put chevy parts in a Pontiac...I really liked the T.A. "concept" but at the same time i know that it just gonna be another GM product so they will get cheap as always and use more plastic than mettel and will never realilze that the Trans Am is a bread of its OWN a deserves to have its own soul....not something use from chevey.... I rite now have got a 99 pontiac firebrid, 3.8L V6 an she aint running goon right now but I reckon that Ive got nobody to thank other than them pussies up on capital hill....I WANT ME TRANS AM BACK NOW!!!!!!!!!

the firebird was the sexiest car ever made and even though it's not being made anymore it still is sexier than any car that exists. Discontinuing it was not smart. Hopefully someone will realize that and bring sexy back.

I owned an '85 Firebird and a '94 Formula (miss that car). GM lost me in late 90's to VW. I've owned 6 VW's since. I'm driving a 2010 Passat now. But, I still dream of my Formula...no joke. If the Firebird was available last June, I would have bought one...hands down. The new Camaro's are sharp, but I just can't do it. I'm loyal to the Firebird...always.

I hope they bring it back. Just when they were building cars that people actually want to buy and drive for years they yanked it out from under us. I bought a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT just a few days before they announced GM's BK just over a year ago. I knew they were probably going to go into BK however I wanted a G8 while they lasted. Best pontiac and just possibly the best GM vehicle GM has ever built. I have not been disappointed with the car now owning it a year with 13k miles on it. I simply love it! Best car I've owned and I've owned Hondas, VWs, Chrysler products, Ford products etc. My previous car was a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP which I thought was a really good performing car however the G8 is light years ahead of that and handles and performs very similar to a BMW 5 series for about 1/2 the price. Bring it back please! I want to be able to purchase another one like the G8 in the future. No other Chevy or Buick is in that class which would spur me to switch to another maker and I don't want to do that. My father also owned a 69 GTO with a 4 speed....he loved it. He also owned 2 late model Bonneville SSE's and drove them for nearly 200k miles each. It's sad to see it go and I'm still bitter. Bring it back with products such as the G6 and G8 and see the sales grow again and be a profitable division again.

GM just listen to all of these Pontiac fans. All the busines your could have by doing Pontiac done right. The Trans Am was the most awsome of the line, along with the rest of the Pontiac Pack ( Grand Prix, Grand AM, Bonniville,Solstice GTO even the G6 & G8). All of these cars outshined almost everything else on the market. So pull your head out of your ass and gave the people what they want. I also own a 2001 Firebird Trans Am WS.6 and I absolutely love it!!!

My first two vehicles after joining the Air Force were an 82'V6 Firbird and an 84' Trans Am. I drove those cars religiously while (get this) stationed in Alaska, for goodness sake! It was not until I could afford the Vette before I gave up the Firebird. The Trans Am stayed with me up until 2001. My dream was to restore a 77'-78' up to the "Bandit" specifications. Its a thing a beauty when you're traveling on the highways and a Trans Am (any year)cruises by you. For me, I often wonder if I should have kept the Firebird and maybe stuck a turbo on it, a la Anniversary Turbo Trans Am! GM, bring the dang T/A back!

I love the concepts that are being designed by the private industry. It goes to show that everyone wants to see it produced. The reason that sales got so dismal is that Pontiac produced the majority of the firebirds with 3.8 and automatics. The T/A's have the v-8. When I think of american muscle I want a large gas guzzling V-8 with a six speed.

Bring back the TransAM, I have had 4, 1978, 1982, 1986 and the 1998.

I just want to say, That the firebird line has got to be one of the best lines if not the best out there. You should consider bringing it back and know everyone would love to get their hands on one of those baby's. I currently have a 95 firebird and would definitely get a new car if it meant me buying a trans am. I love mine so much i wouldnt trade it in to buy a new prius or something no, i want a firebird ! So please think about it and i know you will make us proud. We have faith in you guys! Thanks.

Pontiac is the only GM car line I really like. Why does GM want to kill itself. Pontiac is the best of all GM models. What the hell is going on here?

GM really needs to listen to the consumers of their products just like the Japanese companys have done, and they have done very well doing so. Is it so hard? Just sell us what we want to buy the Kevin Morgan designs are on the mark and would easily out sell all other pontiac models. Listen up GM the people have spoken.

GM sucks!!!!!!! Ditch Buick. The Trans Am rocks! best car I've ever owned and I've had 5 of them. NEVER a problem. Get rid of the CHEAP Camaro. pontiac never had to advertise the TA because the loyal TA drivers knew it was a great car. GM you just lost alot of customers!!!!!!!!!

Of course you need to bring it back! I can't believe the even stopped producing them in the first place. It seems that Ford keeps leading GM by the nose. Here's my preference though. just bring back the transam. it is a great car and one of the best looking cars out there. the winner of the first season of BULLRUN had a transam and it proved itself as a reliable car, albeit it was modified, overall bring the firebird back! make it cheaper than the camaro. if you guys bring it back that way it will make nissan's 370z have a headache! please bring back the transam!

I drive a red 95 firebird formula trans am. I LOVE it. It was my sweet 16 present. A firebird was my dream car (set apart from the corvettes). When I wrecked it I cried. It was raining (of course) and when I put on my breaks it wouldn't stop and I rear ended someone. (Got to be careful in the rain with these cars) I cried so hard because I didn't want a different car. I told my dad can I please get another trans am. He said I don't know because of gas (this was when gas was like $4). Luckily I was able to get it fixed from a guy that works with him and he gave us a discount (I would have been better off just buying another trans am because it cost just as much to fix it as it did to buy it.) I really want them to start makeing the trans ams again. I've seen pictures and I'm definately going to get one if I have the money, although I'm only 18 but hey, I'll be out of college soon with a job!!

i own a 1999 firebird formula trans am and i love my **** car ,i get mad , sick like brian when my car broke down , i like when ppl look at my car and make comments about it , good comments " no matter what i keep it i know someday going to died my car but im so happy to have a trans am

I own a 1994 Firebird SCE and love that car more than anyone or anything. If my cars sick im depressed i dont know of many cars that people can have that kind of passion for. yea the camaro is nice and all but we all know the trans am was the true muscle car, please dont end its reign of the roads.

I am a big T/A fan. I'd love to have one again but I think the last versions out there were more plastic than muscle. Bring back the real T/A's like the 1987 T-Roof!

I have drooled ove Trans Am's since I was 16. I'v wanted a black Ram Air Trans Am so badly. My children are now grown, and it's time for me. I will be 50 in two years. When I was 40 my husband said to wait till my 50th birthday and he would get me the dream car I've always wanted. PLEASE BRING BACK THE TA FOR MY 50TH!

I owned a 1979 Trans Am, I loved that car more than anything or anyone. Heck yea lets bring it BACK!!!!! I'd love to love all over again.

From the pictures I have seen on the Trans Am I will most diffently get one when ever it is released. I have already been waiting for like two years and really hope to see them out on the road soon.
