Just by watching Supernatural with Katie as Ruby, she just fits well and the new Ruby, she's good HOWEVER Katie makes a better Ruby.

Katie needs to come back! I love her character and Katie made Ruby her own in a way that no one else can compare too! It would have been better to kill her off for good than have other another person play her. Even though body hopping works great on paper its really hard to watch! Bring back the Ruby we all love!!!

i didnt like katie cassidy but not i realize how much i miss her! She played the part well, needless to say how much i did or didnt like her. Thew new Ruby gives me a "little innocent country girl" eque vibe.

I realise that budget constraints are paramount in producing a television series (such as Supernatural). However, there is also a point when an actor "becomes" the character - and no one else will do. For example, if Jensen Ackles left Supernatural, you may as well pack up and move back to L.A. Because there is not another actor that can portray Dean Winchester. The attitude, the raw emotion, the sarcasm - Jensen has nailed his character. The same goes for Katie Cassidy's portrayal of Ruby. Her timing, her facial expressions - Katie Cassidy has nailed Ruby. I'm not saying Cortesse isn't a good actor; but she could put both her feet in just one of the boots Katie filled as the bad-ass demon Ruby. Ruby is too strong a character to be played all woosy and wimpy - and Cortese is way to weak in the role.

The new girl, while i'm sure she's a great girl, is just not ruby. Katie Cassidy is Ruby! i'm from Australia and alot of people here agree too. Bring her back! Demons have inhabited dead bodies before, i think that ruby should go back into her old body. Plus, the new girl isn't as good an actress, she's not portraying ruby as the hard, bad-ass demon that katie put across. I loved her, she needs to come back.

please bring back Katie Cassidy as Ruby, she was perfect for the role. When i first saw her i just fell in love with the character and herself. I watch Supernatural b/c its exciting, the Winchesters and Ruby of course. Its just not the same without her.
