Issue:

I mean LP gives the feeling that is the original album and it was how it was recorded in the first place. And also you got so freakin big covers that you can look on for hours. But the bad part is that its clumsy.

However CD:s are expencive small covered and "plasticy". But the sound is tremendeous (for some)

So.. CD or LP

Belief:

I think the Cd'll win 'cause lots of us like newer bands whos songs didnt even come out in LP... and i also think a lot of people will say that LP is poor quality when its not!

Forum Discussion for CD or LP

Well I think the LP was good sound for the time but as with time technology changes and CDs they use digital format that can allow signals to be split into different channels so you can hear more different things in the same speaker! Kind of like when you watch a DVD movie in 5.1 channel you can be hearing someone talking in the left speaker and on the right speaker hear trees and wind almost like your there! And if you go digital you can even enhance your old LP if you encode in that format you can keep the tone of the LP while bringing up the levels and EQ so you can get better voice clarity. Also being in digital preserves the music quality forever LP and tapes lose the quality after time.

Lp's are the past like cassets and 8 track tapes....they are novelty items now......soon cd's will be gone and you will go to the store to by an album on a sd card or download them directly to your mp3 player.
