Description:
Currently I have noticed that you’re being forced to use vista even if you don’t want to use it. Microsoft and computer companies don’t let you run what you want on your own computer which I believe is wrong! I think people have the right to choose what they want on their computer when they buy it. I also think when you get a new computer it shouldn’t be necessary to uninstall all the bundled software that comes preinstalled, your computer should only come with essential drivers for computer functionality and software that’s only crucial to the computers stability and security.
They give you the operating system with the computer. They don't make you use anything. You can install any OS on your computer that's compatible with it. If you don't want to get the OS with the computer, build it yourself... since you know oh so much about security and stability.
why not have a virtualization installed on new computer and the choice of new MS-OS (so pay the licence for that) further an installation of linux shoud be standard too (red hat, suse, ubuntu ... some of that)
It would be nice if the major players like Dell, Acer, HP & Gateway offered non-M-soft OS alternatives like Linux.
Of course there is always the option of purchasing a bare bones system and installing the OS yourself.
thats really true! i think if computer company's gave people what they want than they would be the real winners against all other company's. i think in this world of software people need to know open source free programs are just as good or better than paid programs! some of the best software i use is totally free and it simply works. open source operating system world rocks its free and stable. and thanks to new company's like crossover you can run and install windows based software on Linux and mac without the need to dual boot windows or run os emulation!
