okay, Twilight was one of many others favorite books. it also has become one of the greatest motion pictures yet to be viewed by thousands.

Why not make City of Bones next on the list?

This should definitely become a movie. My choices for casting would be: Jace - Bradley James (Arthur Pendragon in the new Merlin series on NBC) Clary - Emma Roberts (Nancy Drew, Hotel for Dogs) Luke or Valentine (can't decide) - Gerard Butler (300, The Ugly Truth) Isabelle - Katie McGrath (Lady Morgana from Merlin on NBC) Alec - Gaspard Ulliel (Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising) Jocelyn - Julia Roberts (Mona Lisa Smile, Runaway Bride) as for the other characters I can't really decide. When I think about them they're still blurry. I don't have a definite picture of who could portray them.

noo definatley not. ur actor choices are too limited and common and UGLY!! new people should be auditioned to find the PERFECT actorss.. otherwise they could kill the mortal instruments kinda like twilight

i think that alex looks too old to play jace they are sixteen and he is almost 20.. it just wouldnt look right

omg the series has to become a movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like actually. it would cane twilight so hard!!!! alex pettyfer would have to play jace though, no other actor could come close to pulling jace off =]

Yes, definetely, this book should be a movie..I love the twists Cassandra puts into her books, and would love to see it turned into a movie!! I know for sure it will beat Twilight to a pulp!

OMG!!!!! OFCOURSE YES DEFENETLY!!! ima be honest ive finished reading city of bones and is curently waiting for city of ashes to arrive!! i fell in love with the bok since the 5th page..its amazing.. and im pretty sure itll beat twilight.. its just that city of bones hasnt been recognized and once it does it will blow twilight off the spotlight... I AM A TWILIGHT FAN.. but the books not much of a fan of the movie.. THIS BOOK WOULD BE A GREAT MOVIE AND A TOTAL HIT!!!!!

i hate the twilight movie!! and if they make the city of bones like it i would freak. so i would rather them not make it into a movie. and if they did i would want cassandra clare right in there making sure there are no mistakes. so no movie for me cause they would ruin the book for others. and then they wouldn't read it and i would get POed. and they wouldn't like that. so yah no movie not at all!

i thnk twilight was a total failure...i HATE d actor playing edward...they could have done so much better i mean edward is the life character of d book...and cuz they scrwed up choosing d perfect edward actor...they ended up screwing d whole movie -.- i saw some recommendations of some City of Bones' fans regarding d characters n if they would give notice to that and proly evn follow that then the movie (if they'd evr make it...i hope they would) would be AWESOME!

They really should do a movie on the mortal instruments series. If they are to do it and do it well and follow through with the book, i think it would be better than the twilight series for sure.

i JUST finished the third..n i must say .It.Was.AMAZING! n it would be the BEST as a movie..i would die to go see it..but if they did..i'd ay they should maek it better than how they made twilight..n make it more to the book:)

Guys Vote YES if you Would like to see this great book turned in to a great movie we need more votes, If u guys loved book 1 and 2 you'll love book 3 omg its crazy you got to read it.This book is the next big thing so make it in too a movie and soon please.
