Issue:

"Cloverfield" is the first adrenaline-pumping monster hit of the year. The thriller is told from the point of view of five young New Yorkers using their handheld camera. But for some viewers, being "part" of the movie is making them sick -- literally.

Belief:

Comments made: "I had to get up and leave the theater for nearly 20 minutes just to keep from hurling." "You can look around and feel like things are moving, when they aren't."

Cloverfield was terrible. The blair witch project all over again but worse. Atleast you got to see straight for a little bit of their running. You have no idea what happens in cloverfield, where the hell that thing came from if they killed it, if anyone survived. Sure you can leave it to our imaginations but our imaginations didnt pay you to create it. we want to watch a story not start it and end it for ourselves. All you get is a middle, it's like they were filming and were like hey let's just stop filming. like peace we're out of here, the viewers can finish it in their own heads. Dont' ever rent it, it's terrible. They don't even deserve money for a movie that wasn't even finished.

It so made me sick! I moved to the back row... didn't help. I had to watch it in my peripheral vision. Yikes!

Think Blair Witch, the way it was filmed... if that movie made you sick then don't go see Cloverfield in theater. I would wait to rent it and watch it at home, it's not all that great anyway.

Haven't seen it yet either.
But what you wrote here , I just seen it on the News last night . word for word. lol

Haven't seen it yet, so can't vote, but I'm looking forward to it.. but have to say, if this movie doesn't make me sick, or at least effects me in some way, I'll be disapointed, after the built-up this movie has had ;)

I have vertigo but I love this kind of stuff. Please let me know if it will make me sick.

Like Jennifer C says above, if you didn't like Blair Witch but a lot more jolting. But I'm one of "those" people who go to horror movies to see who can make the sickest joke and we always cheer, clap and whistle when the evil monster-zombie from hell does something while we throw popcorn at each other.
