I think that college financial aid loans should be distributed directly to college students rather than to the institution they attend. Colleges currently have control over student loans and control distribution of this money by placing it on credit cards that can only be used at that specific institution. This policy prevents students from exercising their good old American privilege of shopping around for the best price. Competition is what this country was founded on ! Students should have the opportunity to control theor own loan money and spend it wherever they please.
