Perfect Casting..this girl is amazing.

she'd be perfect! she loves the books - so shes dedicated, amazing actress, shes really pretty and vampires are gorg, shes white so they wouldn't need to use alot of makeup, and shes little like jane... i could go on and on .. its not exactly how i pictured jane, cause i pictured her a little more intense and evil so maybe look around but i think she'd be good. janes hair is really short though, i wonder if she'll want to cut it :p

She is a great actress, but I don't think she would make a good Jane. She is NOT what I picture when i think of Jane, I know Jane is small, but i don't think she looks like a 14 year old. I think Dakota is too young looking and she is too sweet looking to play a menacing, jealous type vampire. Jane needs to be played by a beautiful, evil looking B-atch!!!

It was hard to answer yes or no. I dod think she would be able to pull it off, but I fear that her status would overshadow the movie and make her part more than what it should be. In my opinion, I think the girl from Bridge to Terribithia and Witch Mountain would make a great Jane. Either way, I can't wait for New Moon to come out.

No!!! I like Dakota Fanning but i don't want her to be Jane! She's to peaches-and-cream to be a evil vampire! She's a great actor but not for this role.

I think she will do a great job, She is small, petite, beautiful, and if you have seen her in other movies we all know she knows how to bed evil... No offense. She is a great actor especially for her age!!

oh and just more few things.(sorry for my english first of all...I am portuguese lol) The make up, the "special effects" can make her look really evil, an evil vampire lol, make up does amazing things and you know that...and even so, i think she wouldn't need much...do you really want someone that really has that evil look already? wouldn't you people prefer a good surprise that would blown you away? I thing dakota can be that good surprise

Oh come on people, think with me...yes...I agree when all people say that she is too sweet to play jane but, do you remember the description of "bella"...jane has a face of an angel...and think again...dakota is a great actress I bet she can play an evil character, and would be a new role for her to play, give her a chance. She has every thing going on, she is a great actress, she is young, she has that misterious and angelical face like stephany made her look like in the book, and even knowing that dakota is a known actress and usually that kind of things are bad for movies like twilght, but, but she is more known as the child, not as the dakota all grown up, not as the teenager dakota, so that wouldn't be a bad thing in her case, And I really think that she can surprise us all in a good way, well maybe not all people because we don't have all the same opinions and tastes but almost all of us. I think she is a good choise to play jane

i think that annasophia robb would make a better jane beacause she has this evil look too her they should definitely set up auditions for jane beacause there might be someone out there a trillion times better but generally she is good for the part!

No, i don't think she should. why not get other people who are NOT famous so someone else can be in the movie. shes been in plenty of movies and i dont think its very fair! >=[ there is plenty of other girls out there who would LOVE to be in twilight. and also shes still too young. perhaps around 17 and 18 year olds should be in it. and on the other hand i dont find it very fair that she just gets the part like that.! its very upsetting. >=[

absolutly she would make the perfect jane. does anyone know when midnight sun will relised?, im dying to read the compleated version also does anyone know if all 4 books will be written in his perspective? i realy hope so
