Description:Dakota Fanning, who turns 15 next month, has reportedly been offered the villainous role of Jane, a petite, yet deadly member of Italy’s Volturi coven in the film adaptation of author Stephenie Meyer’s second book, New Moon. Apparently there were no auditions, they just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. ShockTillYouDrop.com spoke with Fanning and she confirmed she is circling the film. "I really hope that works out," she says. "I think it's too soon to tell right now, but it'd be really fun. I'm a huge fan." I think she would be perfect for Jane! Dakota can be fierce when she needs to be, I know she could nail it.
I love Dakota Fanning as an actress but I do not think that she would be the right actress to play Jane.
I think she will be great as jane, when I read the book and when jane i appeared I imideatly thought of dakota as jane, se looked excatly like her. So I really hope she will play her.

i think if dakota can pull of the evil smile she would be perfect
i just think she wouldnt be believable as a villianistic character. She just hasnt played that role enough and when she has the movie flops. Like hide and seek that didnt go over big. i am not sure who should play it. Um maybe someone older and even someone knowone has heard of give a starving acter and chance. Anyway their going to have her play the role if they want so i guess will have to wait and see.
I think Dakota Fanning doesn't fit as Jane... I mean, she´s pretty but Jane is supposed to have brown hair, isn't she?? I'd prefer Rachel McAdams or Alexis Bledel

don't get me rong, i love her films, but ive read all her books and she just dosen't fit as jane, nor does anna sophia robb(unless she dyes her hair brown) it needs to be someone a bit older, maybe a brunette, someone like...........

I had never heard of Anna so i just googled her And i dont think she is right for it neither is Dakota.
There needs to be someone who wont look like she is aging, As a vampire you are frozen in time And at Dakotas ages she will grow quite alot. You need to rethink who you will choose

I think Dakota is a great actor.Shes young but thats why they have makeup and special effects.And i think she would be a great jane.That's why its called acting .I think they should give her the role.
