I believe the best actress for the part of Jane in New Moon would be Anna Sophia Robb. She's petite, pretty and can pull of that bitchy ice queen attitude needed for Jane. So far no ones thought of her yet.

Uhhh.... NO WAY!!!! I've looked at Jodelle Ferland pictures, and she is way better for the part of Jane. Jodelle has this more sinister look, but Dakota... YEAH RIGHT!!!!!

I have read all 4 books and in some if not most it describes Jane as small and teen like, translucent and with light brown hair, so in my opinion ( although I have never seen Lucy act) I think Dakota is the best choice.

i agree, she's not janeish enough. i think it would ruin the movie. twilight consist of people who aren't so well known, that would blow it. Lucy Hale would be a better jane

I think Dakota Fanning would be a great person to play the role of Jane. But I also think that, Dakota has been i a lot of other movies, and it might not set the same type of impression that you would get by an actor who hasn't been so involved in other movie genres.
