Description:Dakota Fanning, who turns 15 next month, has reportedly been offered the villainous role of Jane, a petite, yet deadly member of Italy’s Volturi coven in the film adaptation of author Stephenie Meyer’s second book, New Moon. Apparently there were no auditions, they just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. ShockTillYouDrop.com spoke with Fanning and she confirmed she is circling the film. "I really hope that works out," she says. "I think it's too soon to tell right now, but it'd be really fun. I'm a huge fan." Im not sure if she would be good for the pare I kind of pictured Jane as a little different. But its not my choice so idk. They could try it though but I dont think it would be that good.

i thought that jane is supposed to be like 19-20 yrs old (before she turned into a vampire)...therefore dakota fanning wont work...
i think it is possible but i dont think it would be right dakota just isnt at all how i pictured jane

I love Dakota Fanning, but I'd rather see new, unknown actors in the Twilight movies. Jane needs to be an older actor; someone who is not as well known as Dakota Fanning. No offense to Dakota, though; she's a great actor & I look forward to her new film coming out.

Idk I always imagined some one more dark and mysterious. She just looks a little to cute. I love Dakota and the movies she's been in and if they were to cast her I wouldn't be outraged. I would give her a chance. Who knows... She could prove us all wrong.
