Issue:
Recently, New Jersey became the first state to abolish the
death penalty in more than 40 years. New Jersey had not executed anyone since 1963. Though a recent poll showed that 53% of New Jersey voters supported keeping the death penalty, Gov. Corzine, a longtime death penalty foe,  felt "there was little collective will or appetite for our community to enforce this law and therefore the law has little deterrence value — that is if you ever accepted that there was a deterent value."

NO TO THE DEATH PENALTY!
The death penalty is wrong and should not be an option!
What I dont understand is how on earth anyone would want the job of being involved in killing someone!
In my opinion murder is murder whether done by a single violent person or our self rightous government. My belief is legal has nothing to do with moral, and quite often everything to do with money!
If the supreme court votes in favor of such barbaric behavior then the blood of the person being exterminated is on the sleeves of every single person who has helped that happen.
Another issue for me is the people who have the hands on resposibility to execute someone are in fact committing the same crime or sin!
I believe the process is done in steps perhaps, and many people are involved, therefore minimizing the responsibility however who ever is involved from the person leading the prisoner to the execution room to the person who last injects the prisoner.............All are guilty of murder.
I really dont know how they can sleep at night!
Who the hell am i to decide if a person should die. And who the hell is anyone else either. There have been innocent people put to death because of it. Get rid of it.
