We, the undersigned, would like the move to all digital tv delayed due to the mismanaged campaign and the current economic situation. 

More than 20 million households receive their TV shows using only an antenna.  On Feb. 18, television signals transmitted over the air will be transmitted solely in digital format. Old TV sets will no longer work.

This transition could be one of the worst understood consumer education programs in modern times.  Only 35% of the converter box vouchers that were requested were redeemed before their "expiration date". 

With the current economic times, many Americans have to cut back on expenses including cable tv and cannot afford to buy even the converter box.  The pool of Americans most likely to be affected is larger than just the poor and the elderly this time.

 We urge congress and the FCC to delay the switch to digital tv until our economy turns around.
