There is absolutely no plot, the characters are unrealistic, and it rapes all amazing vampire books with it's unrealistic mythology. Before you say Twilight is great I have a list of real vampire books that you need to read: 1)Blood Sucking Fiends and You Suck by Christopher Moore, 2)Camilla, The Vampyre and Dracula, 3)In the Forest of the Night, and finally, 4) Interview with a Vampire Ann Rice. If you have not read any of these books I suggest that you do not try and talk about vampires like you are an expert. And definitley don't say that Twilight is a great vampire romance. Because it blows. Christopher moore writes a better Vampire romance than Stephanie Meyer.

If they havent, I agree, they should give it a chance before they bash it. Im just wondering actually, I dont really enjoy the book...so what is it about the series that you like so much? The other side was uncomfortable with accepting people over trivial things. I ask you, which side was right in their action? Those who wanted their guarenteed rights, or those who were bothered by those rights because they allowed people to do and say things they disagreed with? In this scenario, I speak of the civil rights movement. If you remove that context, though, you see a very similar war going on in this very petition board. Did Martin Luther King Jr. and the NAACP want to opress or belittle his fellow citizens because of their race? Absolutely not. Did the Southern resistence want to do so to those "rebelrousing negroes"? Yes. Make of it what you will, but I worry when those who hold majority and unextinguishable if not misguided passion latch on to such a cultish thing as Twilight.
