Actually, we have. That's the scary thing. I have personally read all four books. I HAVE experienced the scintillating, glittering, incandescent muscles. I HAVE experienced the liquid topaz eyes. I HAVE experienced Edward's sweet-smelling breath, I HAVE experienced the purple prose.
And yet, I hate it anyway. Funny, huh?
Also, before you accuse me of "OMG it's just because you read them when you already thought you would hate them" No. I read them having never heard about them before. And then, before you can say "Well, you're just trying to jump on the bandwagon with all the Twilight haters". Still no. I read the first 3 books, and I ENJOYED THEM. Then, about a month later (I didn't even know anti-twilighters existed), I thought about it for a minute, and realized that they were some of the worst books I've read.
Anyway, the moral is:
It IS ACTUALLY POSSIBLE for one to both read the books and still hate them. As with any book.
Is it a requirement to love every book you read? Are you saying that you've NEVER read a book you disliked?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. The people who hate twilight probably do for good reason. The people who love it have a good reason too. Both sides of this fence have been outwardly vocal so you know where the other stand. I think its time to let people think what they will and not let it affect you.
Lets call the Cullens and they can have a really big dinner with all the Twilight haters XD

I'm going to go ahead and post here. I just want to point out some reasons why people hate twilight. I know someone who's first negative comment stated that she was not impressed with "good-looking sparkly vampires"... now, if anyone actually knows most vampire mythology, they would see that vampires are alluring creatures, hence the reason Edward and his family are drop dead gorgeous. It makes me laugh when there are haters out there who haven't even read the book. That being said, people have the right to their opinion, but should really not shove negativity in the fan-base's face. We all have something we love, and those haters could be secretly obsessed with things we may find silly. I can almost guarantee it! (Unless they are emotionless robots who love nothing...) Besides, those haters think they're "cool" by saying what every other hater says, but in reality lack originality in their opinions. Hate to say it, no matter how much negativity is thrown at Twilight, nothing's going to change, there will always be that fanbase and that love. Haters are really wasting their time and need to go find something more constructive to do, srsly. <3
While I completely respect your opinion, and I REALLY respect how you have stated your argument legibly and intelligently. (I'm serious, no sarcasm here)

I'm sorry, but EVERYONE does this. No matter WHAT your opinion/argument is, you WILL adopt other's ideas. Even if you like Twilight. If you hear something supporting Twilight, you could think "Hey! That is a very good argument! That makes a lot of sense!" And then use that idea for yourself when you debate, discuss, etc. EVERYONE does this. NO ONE is 100% original.
Plus, among THOUSANDS of Twilight haters, many of them will obviously find the same things wrong with it. It's not like there are a million uniquely different things wrong with Twilight, such that each person who hates it will have one argument/idea that is completely different from everyone else

The only thing I've seen so far from her books is a lot of fighting over weather its good or not.
