They are hated for a variety of reasons; sub-par plot that involves every cliche under the sun, no grasp of story-progression. Stephanie Meyer gives a lot of build-up, which, when done properly, can culminate in a truly amazing finish. But there is no finish; we're just left hanging since there is absolutely no **** character progression. Besides, Twilight was written by a middle-aged Mormon house-wife who had a wet dream to pay off her mini-van debts. The ****, man.

I think I can see the WAAAAAAAmbulance coming. Looks like there'll be another whiner checking into the asylum tonight. Anyway, you lose the game. Just because you like a book doesn't mean that every man, woman, cat and rabbit wants to know about it. Calling someone a disrespectful animal just proves your stupidity. *snicker* Your argument seemed semi-intelligent (although it sounded like almost everyone else's negative comment about "character progression" and so forth) then flopped with your use of profanity. If you think you could do better, write a successful series that captures a massive fanbase, go on now, do it. I'll wait. I would like to add that your comment doesn't belong here, find yourself a cozy spot in a "Twilight-hater" forum and discuss your opinion there. Then you will find others who share your opinion.

So the definition of life for you is loving Twilight to death, and being... "kool".
I hope that the book will forever keep you provided for. Will always give you food, clothing and water. Because being "kool" doesn't mean a damned thing when life hits you over the head.
