Dunkin Donuts Pulls Rachel Ray AdForum Discussion for Dunkin Donuts Pulls Rachel Ray Ad Submitted by Kay E. on Sat, 07/05/2008 - 04:28
Whatever happened to the majority rules? Was this just one blogger complaining or millions of them? If it were millions I could understand the ad being pulled, but this is just plain stupid. Submitted by Catherine G. on Mon, 06/16/2008 - 15:58
we all have other things to be worried about these days Submitted by Ciprian B. on Mon, 06/09/2008 - 15:04

I think we might have a few more pertinent things to worry about...hmmm? Submitted by Thomas L. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 16:48
Wow - Nice to see peoples comments. Hey BTW..Its not like the scarf is on her head! :-) Submitted by kathy m. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 16:09
this world has gone totally crazy, forget the scarf and make gas prices go down so we can all afford to stay in the good old usa! Submitted by Chris B. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 11:09
How utterly rediculous!!! Maybe we should all stay home and hide so we won't be accused of terrorism because of our fashion statement. Submitted by lee ann w. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 08:03
what a bunch of crap!!! These religious christain fanatics and bloggers are the terrorists...they say a few crazy things and people react boycott and make establishments pull ads.....what is wrong with us come on people!!! lets have some COMMON SENSE!!!!! Or are we going to start down the path that the people did in Salem way back when and let fear and ignorance dominate? Submitted by Nicholaos L. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 07:59
I GREECE WE SAY: OR OTHERWISE. nicholaos Submitted by Alastair L. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 04:06
The ignorance of the blogger is appalling. Where do people pull this kind of BS from? The only thing I can think of is a quote from "Walk Hard:" "But the song was about holding hands!" I'm not 100% on the quote, since I couldn't find anything online with reference to it specifically, but it makes the point none the less. If this wasn't in real life, this might almost be funny. But it's not, so it's just sad. And isn't a kaffiyeh worn on the head? Alastair Submitted by Darlene R. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 03:06
How ignorant and senseless is everyone becoming? Pull an ad just because of a scarf? Give me a break... I'm so sick of this BS. Grow up people! Submitted by Lisa D. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 01:43
Typical lack of virtually any brains or common sense...but what do you expect from a 'donut shop'? their employees are oily, unkept looking, and THEY are worried about a scarf referencing to terrorism? I think whoever pulled this, needs to, well, for starters, BATHE, practice AT LEAST a little hygeine, and go back & at least complete the 6th grade!! How typical of a uneducated moron...seriously. A scarf doesn't make a person. Time to go back to elememtry school, and learn exactly what steriotypes a human-not clothes, hair or the vehicle one chooses to drive. I believe that being a terrorist starts with a cold heart, and a evil, demon-posessed brain! My next move is to go out & find one of those scarves, and set the weak, uneducated population straight! The fact that we are talking about and trying to understand the reasoning of the insane must surely have the Muslim terrorist laughing so hard they wet themselves. Why would anybody of sound mind give this any thought and or voice? Just listen to what your talking about. glenn W. on weds 6/4/08 Submitted by Ron T. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 00:58
That is one of the problems today. Political Correctness has gone bezerk. The ultra liberals are mostly to blame. There is NO common sense any more with most of them. Nancy Pelosi and her ilk are out of control. A small percentage of people are creating fear in the large corporations. And the press is no better with their obvious agendas. Obama has more press appeal than Clinton. Yet she is a two time senator with specific plans and can be president the first day. He was just elected and is a freshman senator. He sys he wants change, but hasn't given any concrete plans. Clinton has a former president as her closest advisor. His advisor is apparantly is an anti-American bigot. His wife made quite a few anti-American sounding statements, but he said not to focus on his wife. So the press gave him a pass. Bill Clinton puts his foot in his mouth because of a hatchet job by Vanity Fair and the press is all over Hillary for it. If Obama wins, it is because of the press, Obama Girl on YouTube and gullible citizens that don't take the time to be educated and are persuaded by charm. As for Dunkin Donuts, the may want to consider calling their primary beverage, "Unaltered Coffee," to avoid offending the blacks! Submitted by Kristin R. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 00:28
Just stupid, whomever said she looks like a terrorist needs to be smacked around. Submitted by stuart r. on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 00:06
Move on up, President Obama, America needs your counsel more than ever. Am so glad I am not: 1. Living in America I am so glad I am: 1. A passport holder and can travel s2 Submitted by LORRIE T. on Wed, 06/04/2008 - 23:15

I think Dunkin Donuts totally wimped out. Who needs them anyway. They are not the fashion police! Only an absurdly sensitive person would be offended by Rachel's scarf and that's their problem - and it's a big one! Submitted by Judy K. on Wed, 06/04/2008 - 22:07
Certainly, there are more important things going on in the world than what scarf anyone is wearing!! Give me a break. Who are these fashion police??? Submitted by ellen dasters U. on Wed, 06/04/2008 - 22:04
I was disgusted to see Oprah Winfrey wearing trousers the other day. Hitler wore trousers, too. This woman CLEARLY needs to pay more attention to Fashion of the SS. Submitted by Lee M. on Wed, 06/04/2008 - 21:56
Dunkin Donuts is retarded for caving in to these right wing bigoted american terrorists. Whoever originally complained about the scarf is the worst kind of American there can be. Submitted by MaryBeth D. on Wed, 06/04/2008 - 14:25
I have that scarf! I didn't know I was a terrorist. Loading People... |
