Ultimate Fighting Championship Hall of Fame
Description:
We, the undersigned fans, respectfully request that Evan Tanner be inducted into the Ultimate Fighting Championship's "UFC Hall of Fame" posthumously.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight titleholder Evan Tanner had gone on a solo camping trip 9/3. He drove to the area on a dirt bike that he had recently purchased. That afternoon, Tanner called to say the bike had run out of gas and that he was going to walk. When concerned friends did not hear from Tanner again, they reported him missing. A Yuma-based Marine helicopter pilot spotted his body on Monday.

"Believe in yourself. Believe in your own potential for greatness. Believe that you can change the world. It is something that is within each of us. Believe in the Power of One"...Evan Tanner
Tanner is all Heart!
evan tanner should be in the ufc hall of fame he is my favoirteufc fighter
He was a champion, beat some of the best, battled a lot of personal problems and still was an amazing humanbeing- Plus they let Ken Shamrock in the hall of fame.

rest in peace evan
Evan was incredible and he will be missed. He was the Rocky of our sport and should therefore be in the Hall of Fame.
I was shocked to hear that the world is now a great man shorter. Evan Tanner was not only a great fighter but he was a hero to me. His style, his performances, and mostly his drive to win inspired me in life. His losses on the canvas meant more to me than anything, telling me that even though you might beat me or i'm going to lose... that you are going to have to give me everything you got. And damnit, i'm still gonna get up.... R.I.P.E.T. -B

He loved the sport and it showed in all of his fights.
It is only fitting that the UFC show the same respect to Evan Tanner
as he showed to them. Rest in peace
Evan Tanner has one of the biggest hearts and you see that when he fought everytime in the cage. I believed he deserves to be in the hall of fame by far.
Evan Tanner was one of my favorite fighters. When he said he was returning to the octagon this year I was so happy. Hearing he was fighting Yushin Okami was kinda strange, he still put up a good fight, and even though he went down with two losses to end his career, thats how it should be. All the greats go out like that. And he definitely was one of the greats, always came to fight and always put on a good fight and was a MW champion in the UFC. I think he deserves it, if Dan Severn is in the hall of fame, then Evan should be as well, Evan was a very well rounded mixed martial artist.
Evan Tanner R.I.P my friend, you will be sadly missed by the sport you chose but mostly by your fans.A true warrior inside the Octagon and true gentleman outside.A hall of famer all the way.
Evan was amazing, and will always be remembered as one of the best, he should defiantely be inducted into the UFC hall of fame.
RIP Evan Tanner
Evan Tanner was a very respected fighter. He worked his way to the top of mixed martial arts and has impacted everyone who loves the sport. Much love, Evan Tanner will be missed dearly.
HE deserves it. Evan Tanner fought wars in the octagon.
He was a great fighter. He was always fun to watch.....you never knew what hair he would come out with; the classic top not, fro, or shaved really close to his head. That was just a perk on top of being able to see a generally good fight.
I think so.Even when he wasnt winning he was fun to watch. He always tried and worked hard.He was champion for a time,so yes.
Evan was a fighter that that showed the same grit as a Randy Couture. He may have not been as successful, but his career is filled with the same honor. He didn't end it with flare, but he deserves this high honor... remember Evan Tanner.
Evan was a really good fighter, the end of his career was not so great, but during his prime he was a champion and he beat some really good fighters, he deserves to be enshrined in the pantheon of greats!
Hall of Famer yes!!! Now for a man with huge hair inthe ring you look for Guida.
He will be missed.... One of the best of all time. How come to good guys always leave the earth to soon. I'm sure dana White will do the right thing and induct him into the Hall of Fame.
He was Amazing. Definitely taken way before his time. He beat some amazing opponents.
Evan was a great fighter and deserves to be in the hall of fame! He will be greatly missed!
He'll be missed, and should not be forgotten.
