Well how would you feel, if you called the police to your home and the police person fell at your home while on the job, and then decided to file suit against you for their injury?  The family (consisting of the grandparents and the parents) called 911 for medical.  The 1 year old child had fallen in the pool and was having severe problems.  Anytime a 911 call is made for medical, the police are called to the scene and the call is not a cold call, they are aware of circumstances.  This officer responded and upon arrival, she slipped and fell.  She was definitely on the job so why the lawsui?.  My God don't these people have enough on their plate, their child is in the hospital breathing with the assistance of a machine and being fed through a feeding tube, and could possibly die.  Do local police departments have workmans comp or are they exempt?  This officer claims she has to file suit because of the fact she will be out of work for awile and may develop arthritis as a result of her injury.  Her ambulance chasing attorney is just that.  He smells money.  Why is this woman in a public service job, and why is she not suing the police department for her injuries?  What happens to someone that falls off a roof, or a nurse in the hospital that contracts aids from a patient do these people sue?  HELL NO!  The police chief for the police department advised his sargent against taking this action.   So Miss Petty police officer, if you are looking for support, look under the rock that you found your attorney lying under and may this attemt to extort money from innocent people bring you lots of luck, bad luck that is!!!!  Time for the law to take a look at their own and realize that scum can be among us!
