Spay & Nueter the cats, release them in the streets and get the rat & rodent population down. Remember Cats were responsible for saving us from the bubonic plague.

Yes, we need to be intelligent and HUMANE about this subject. I am with a Non-Profit Animal Rescue Organization in Kingman, Az. And we deal w/ this subject all the time. Animal control in our town does NOT pick up cats, but lets them continuosly breed and be in danger on our streets and in our neighborhoods! Etc. Feel free to contact me at; kngmngrl76@yahoo.com

Instead of killing the cats, They chould be caught and spayed or nutered and let free. Then they won't produce more cats and as a group, they don't let others into their coloney. feed them and they will keep the mice and rodents away.If it was a law that everyone had to have their cats spayed or nutered unless they have a licence to breed, it would stop the over flow of cats. Even breeders should be limited as to how many times the could breed a cat, then have it spayed or nutered. feral cats come from careless care takers, cats shouldn't be punished for what man doesn't do in caring for them. God gave us the responsibility to take care of His animals, not abuse them.

Well, according to the posts there isn't much you can do when someone traps the feral cats and has animal control pick them up. Apparently they went to a shelter. Also, there was no obvious abuse in the photos, just pictures of caged cats. I think a lot of people over reacted on the user name (Feral Cat Killer)

It is against the law in most places so they should be reported. However, if you catch them on tape for evidence, it would help. I have to warn you, the punishment is far from what I wish it should be. If you catch them enough times, the punishment goes up each time they get reported and caught. No one has the right to kill these animals for any reason. They can catch them and turn them over to the ASPCA.
