Description:

Read the 2nd amendment. It's not long and it's not rocket science.

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state,
the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

The right shall not be infringed. This means that even if you don't like guns, you have to let anyone who wants to lawfully own one do so.

You don't have to own a gun, though, if you don't want to. Not a requirement.

Firearms are not evil. They are a tool and in the right hands, preserve individual liberty and in many instances, protect innocent life.

To support the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution for all time in the interests of preserving our individual liberties.

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that "a well regulated militia" consists of regular ordinary citizens who are called upon by their governor to serve their state. Said citizens are often required/allowed to provide their own firearms. The few states who have required the militia to use state/federal firearms have often regretted it as the united states government's priority is the U.S. Military.
