It is an injustice that the Harry Potter Books do not make the NY Times 'Best Seller' list. What is the NY Times 'Best Seller' list if it does not include the Best Sellers?
We the undersign demand that the Harry Potter Book 'Deathly Hallows' be included in the 'Best Sellers' list. We feel that it is an injustice that keeps the book off this list and makes the Best Sellers list a Joke.
Don't deny one of the most successful book series of all time the right to be on the list and any other book that is selling the most books.

She is a great writer... but there are many more great writes out there to... naming a few (racking through brain) Stephenie Meyer, Christipher Paloni, etc, etc... i know so many i cant list em all...so think of it like this there are other writers that are as good as J.K. even though shes great theyre so many more think of a few other authors read more books and ull end up likin more authors and books other than HP. i like em still but i like many different 1s too.
J.k is one of the best writers their is she shoud be in the ny times best seller

I AM 49 AND ENJOY ALL OF THE HARRY POTTER BOOKS. I HAVE THE JIM DALE CD'S AND RELISTEN TO ALL OF THE BOOKS OVER AND OVER WHILE I DRIVE (AND I DRIVE ALOT) I HAVE READ ALOT OF GARBAGE IN MY LIFE AND SINCE I HAVE READ J.K. ROWLINGS BOOKS EVERY OTHER WRITER PALES IN COMPARISON. THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT A CHILDRENS BOOK AND SHOULD BE GIVEN THE RECOGNITION THAT THE SERIES DESERVES (YES BOOK 7 WAS THE BEST) EVERY BOOK SHE WROTE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE BEST SELLERS LIST.
The point of the "Best Seller' list is for the best sellers. and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is one of the best sellers!! So it deserves to be on the list!!

so not true...many other books have no are best sellers open ur eyes to the truth hp isnt the best book out there...i like all sorts of books and i used to luv hp but i changed and so did the best sellers
harry potter books have helped the next generation of kids like to read again. they deserve to be on the list as much as the others.

Every book in the Harry Potter Series should be allowed on the NYT Best Seller List. If they were they would still be on it - taking quite a few of the top spots. These books are so popular, they'll remain a world classic.
harry deserves a spot
i admit i was PUMPED for deathly hallows, and after i read it semi-dissapointed...after reading it a second time though, i like it alot better, i appreciate detail and JK certaintly deleivered! i was just more lengthy than it needed to be i think, but it did the series a just ending, and im glad i found harry back in 7th grade, i dont know what i would do without him...it deserves a best seller spot, no doubt!
That list is bull. I have never read a series like this nor will I ever again. I agree with the statement above.

There alway's needs to be an exception to the rule. Harry Potter was just so stinkin popular that it would have kept books from reaching the top of the NY Times list.

If the best sellers list can't honor this book, why should they honor any books? If a group of people can't honor everybody ( best sellers list, award shows, music charts) they shouldn't have it.
All the Harry potter Books should be on that list !! They are great and somewhat inspireing stories.
Its their opinion..we all have opinions and we have to respect that. Anyway, many people, including me, believe that Harry Potter is one of the best books ever written. Reality bites, we can't please everyone.
