I love furry beavers big or small. keep them alive!!!

Say that to our ancient ansestors. The human race exists because of "murder". If I kill a deer for meat, why not keep it's hide and use it for clothing? (I know how to do that) It's a very good natural material! Much better than PVC (polyvinyl chloride)(fake leather) clothing which is poisonous to our environment.

Let's change the world for the better.I don't agree with wearing fur or leather. It is a barbaric practice for the rich ******s that want to show off. We need to save as many species as possible. There are to many animals being tortured for this unneeded cruelty. HAVE THEY HEARD OF FAUX FUR!?!?!

Our hairy butts already have fur we don't need anymore.Skining animals is cruel!

Hi Stehpanie, thanks for reminding people about that. Sometimes the animals are skinned alive and it would be incredible painful. It does make you wonder how anyone could do that. It makes me sick too.

No more killing the animals

Part of the problem is that for awhile, clothing makers stopped using fur altogethor. Now it's back and fur farms are in business again and leghold trapping has started up again. There was a lot of great information around about who you could write to protest, but that has become lost. Perhaps we could look around and find out how we protest the use of fur. Who do we write, I think it would be someone in government and people in the media so they would report on the fur issue again and people can learn that fur is being used again and that it is cruel. I know YouChoose.Net does forward, so by posting you have already done something, but wouldn't it be great if this petition had 1,000 signatures?

this is 2008 there are a million ways to keep warm and look good. killing animals for fur is crazy and useless. people will do anything to make money

The idea of skinning itself is so horrible . Come on people god has given us heart have mercy on poor animals . U got lot of other things to wear to protect you from cold which look more stylish and more rich then why FUR???? Now a days in parties people who wear fur products are considered cruel rather then rich and stylish. Remember when the Buying stops the Killing will stop.

People fur is murder their just like you and me ask yourself this the next time you skin a poor defenceless animal would you skin a human too?

I hope to get some websites about how to stop live trapping of animals. This trapping is done during the winter because the animal's coat is the thickest. Which means the animal is caught in a leg hold trap for at least a day and as many as three when it is very cold. But there is something else you can do right now. It is horrifying that Canada and the US are the biggest consumers of furs that come from countries like China.

These animals, many of them cats an dogs, are killed brutally for their fur. Far too many of them aren't even dead yet before their skins are removed.

I'm appalled that even when something is labelled 'faux' fur, it is too often a lie and real fur is used.

You dont need fur!!

Until someone can give me a serious reason why the human race needs fur when we have so many alternatives, I agree with this whole heartedly. Fur is also vanity and elitism.

it annoys me when i see people walking round in fur. especially celebs, saying oh its wrong to wear animal fur but then wearing it themselves. do they not spare any thought for the animals killed to make their clothing or the appaling way the animals are breeded or treated before they become a jacket or a hat or whatever **** they become? its wrong and its cruel and it shoud be made illegal to wear fur, weather real or faux its still fur and still wrong!!!!!!!
