MY daughter is gay, so many people say it's a choice. I believe it's who she is and who she was born to be. I have said so many times why would any one choose a life where the ignorant majority of the population shun and mistreat her and her friends.She is who she is a beautiful girl, human and daughter. I couldn't ask for better. We have been through soo much together ,and we are both stronger better people and time will eventually make a difference with more education just as all,other civil,human rights issues. If you can't say something nice don't say anything at,all,Lrt people live and be happy .

Each to his or her own i say, it's NOTHING to do with anyone else. I accept people for who and what they are, it's their personalities that matter not their sexual orientation. Life is too short live it to the full the way you want.

people are dieing in iraq when they dont have to, the economy is going down, children are being abused, priests are sexually abusing our children, and YOU are going to focus on my sexuality? thats wrong.

there are starving children on thw streets, dieing soldiers in iraq, dieing people because of poor health care, street killings and violence, and YOU ARE GOING TO FOCUS ON MY SEXUALILY? now THAT is wrong. Guns and drugs and alcohol arent in the bible either, but they exsist.

I understand the feeling,feeling,feeling.. some would just ignore what they thought is right & godly because of feelings.. but let me tell you this, it takes deeper maturity to understand God's purposed in that paricular case.. and it takes maturity to get joy without compromised with the will of God.. it takes maturity with Him to be really happy.. Two gay people are not hurting anyone; it is two people loving each other, not bestiality and not pedophilia; there is no one being hurt. It is immoral for a group of people in power to limit the rights of others in the minority simply because they can.

I have read most of the comments below,but gay/lesbian marriage should not be a designated right. I stand firmly and believe in the word of God, and God did not create us to be gay/lesbian lovers, if so he would have made it easier for them to have children without adoption and artificial insimination. I love everyone, i dont hate gays or lesbians i just dont agree with there lifestyle nor do i think it's biblical.

From the mother of a Gay son, I have to tell you, I believe he should have all the same freedoms that the rest of the world has. He is a human being, just like the rest of us. He deserves the same opportunities, without any reprecussions or discriminations! What if all the Gay and Lesbian communities said "If I don't have the same liberties as everyone else in this country, then why should I pay taxes?" I beleive, that if you are human, then you should have the same rights as any other human, like getting married.

i'm straight but i dont see why gay and lesbians cant have rights they are people like all others and love is not about gender is about people, we are people first no matter our gender and i think we all have the right and priviledge to love. so fight for your rights and your happiness because its your life and no one else.

The Bible plainly says that if a man lay with a man or a woman with a woman they will die. It's very clear. IT IS SIN. GOD DOES NOT ACCEPT THIS ACTIVITY and we should not either.

Okay look. I'm not going to condemn gays/lesbians of wanting to get married. I believe a marriage, as is stated in the Bible, is a bond between a MAN and a WOMAN....I'm not trying to thump anyone with Bible lyric, but I'm just saying, to me, it is immoral.
