Description:
It's about time somebody stepped up to the plate, isn't it? I believe that gay marriage should be legalized in every state in America simply because I believe it is a crime not to. The American Constitution states, "All men are created equal." This does not mean that only straight couples are equal. This does not mean that gay and lesbian couples should be viewed as less than straight couples. The Constitution does not even say anything about straight people, homosexuals, or lesbians. It simply says "ALL are created equal." By this logic, all states should legalize gay marriage because it is quite simply constitutional. Isn't it about time this country actually follows it's constitution?
I don't care if your religion prohibits gay and lesbian marriage, I don't care if the constitution was written by a bunch of Protestants. The Constitution of the United States of America does not distinguish between gays and straights.
And, frankly, in my opinion, if you don't agree that all men are created equal and be treated as such in this particular situation, then you aren't an American.

i believe in gay and lesbian marriage!!! what's the big deal?!!! we are all the same and we are different, and we love different things!!!
Just let them Get Married. What is the big deal?
even i think gay, lesbians and all those marriages should be leagalised though i am not in america i would certainly wat it to be legal there and even around the world as even they ared humans and so what if they're differnt they do have the right to love and marry whoever they want to. i hope that this will happen soon and in majority of the places.
I've always felt choice in personal relationships should not include government.
I completely agree. But that's just the kind of country we live in: where the govenrment can do whatever the heck they want, despite the constitution. After all, wasn't it Presdient Bush who said 'The Constituion is just a goddamn peice of paper'? Or something along those lines.
