i just really miss the show i mean, it comes on ABC family but ive already seen all the episodes and i just feel like there needs to be one more big thing to end it all. i do agree that lorelai is not the type to get married-neither is luke, but i really want to see who rory ends up with!! i just think that it would give everyone answers if there was a movie-the show needs closure

I love Gilmore Girls and I never want it to end. Even if Luke and Lorelai have kids and got married the show could go on. We could see their 10th wedding aniversary and see their kids grow up, we could see Sid and Nancys 1st,2dt,3dt,4th...10th birthday.. Besides Rory is too young to get married. It would not fit the story if she does it young but maybe in season 12 or 13 she could do it and have kids. If they continue GG up to 20 seasons we also could see Rorys kids grow up and we would know if they go to Yale also. That would be for me the opitimal ending when I know if Rorys kids go to Chilton or Yale. Then the show would end like it began! Gilmore Girls is not a fairy tale which always ends with a wedding, Gilmore Girls is close to our real life and the real life doesn't end with a wedding and kids. It continues after that too, the real life always goes on. They should do 20 seasons and show us the whole life of the Gilmore Girls. They should not make a four years later movie to show us how their lifes tourn out. We saw every little step of the Gilmore Girls since season 1 and thats what we love on this show that's how it's in real life also. The 7th season was not that good because they made all so fast, that's why it sucked!! And if we get more seasons all Rorys boyfriends can come back!!! SHOW US THE WHOLE LIFE OF THE GILMORE GIRLS TILL THEY OLD AND GREY EVERY LITTLE STEP!!! THE AMOUNT OF VIEWERS WILL TRIPLE!!! THAT'S A PROMISE!!!

This is the best show on TV...at least thats what I used to say...please bring it back...or at least a movie.

For anyone who was there and watched the Loralai and Rory grow and change, who was there crying there eyes out in the last season when everything seemed like it was falling apart, for the fans that watched it all and waited so long for Loralai to come to her senses and realize Luke is the one for her, and was there when Logan and Rory broke up, we were there through it all...it's just horrible for such a great show to end with so many unanswered questions and unsaid things.
There has to be more!

The end of the show continues quite well with the entire theme of the show. We were given a wonderful and long look in the window of these character's lives, but now they move on. Rory does not HAVE to choose someone. She is young; She has a new, exciting job lined up; A career ahead. Lorelai and Luke are together, but likely will take time before marrying (if they ever do). I am content with them just being together. Marriage is not the be all and end all of life. Life continues with or without marriage. I for one plan not to marry because there is truthfully no point unless it is due to a religious belief (and we know Lorelai and Luke are not religious). Things were set quite right as could be between Richard, Emily and Lorelai. They had a heartfelt moment together under the tent where Richard and Emily (mostly Richard because it was his turn to do so as Emily gave and took back many sorrys over the years) apologized to Lorelia for feeling the need to run away and Lorelai mentions the next Friday night dinner putting a very wide smile on Emily's face. The last scene was a beautiful bookend to the last scene from the very first episode. We have Lorelai and Rory at Luke's having a classic Gilmore girl banter while Luke is busy in the background. As the camera pans out from the window for the final time, we understand that these characters will continue with their lives. They will make pop-cultural references for another day. They will down many more cups of coffee. I would feel utterly cheated with a classic moving-out-last-look-at-an-empty-house-b efore-the-lights-go-down ending. Even a wedding would turn my stomach because that is not what these characters are about. They are not about weddings and every end tied up into a pretty bow. They are complicated, conflicting, sometimes grungy and lazy, intelligent, wonderful people. They will exist forever in our hearts and minds BECAUSE we did not get a "complete farewell." We got a "see ya later," a "meet you for coffee at Luke's," a "stop by for a visit next you're in town." We weren't cheated. We were given the future.

We need an ending. Give us one episode, a few episodes, a TV movie or another season or something else. We need a ending to the storyline.

i love the girs and need closier

it did end pretty sucky this show there should a movie to clear up all the fogginess or put one last season out. rory mite bump into logan in her travels when she is in Idaho and rehash old memories and that she is sorry and she would love to marry him. loreali should marry luke

another season after the elections, where rory is supposed to be.
