people need to start respecting animals because they're no different then us. how would you feel stuck in a small cage like thing with out no wandering just staying in the same place all day. its not healthy they need to excape and have space.
Because of our wishes to see exotic and unusual animals and attempts to protect various species, we put those animals in zoos around the world. We have a responsibility towards them to make their lives as good as possible and that includes giving them more space.
I am an avid animal lover and will go to great lengths to have my voice heard if I know and believe an animal is mistreated in anyway. If people would band together and scream loud enough, something positive in some cases are done to rescue the animals from bad situations.
for every day i have been on this earth iv always known that if the amiales that dont have enough space are not in the right place they need room to run and bark and have fun not to be tied down in an apartment or and little old room but maybe just maybe we could give these aniamles a good home like a great big house with a 200 hunderd foot yard to run in or even a farm house with plenty of acers to run and a good owner god bless the animals in this world
I couldn't agree more with you. I can't go to zoo's any longer since I've grown up and realize how horrible and ill fitted the zoos are for the poor animals in them. Polar bears begging for a peanut, elephants with no room to walk, lions so thin they aren't fed right. It's disgusting, and more needs to be done absolutely.
If you want to see a sad situation, you should see the San Antonio Zoo. I can't go to zoos either! You're right, there is no room for the largest animals. There is an elephant rescue in Tennesee, where they can roam free, they actually get to put their poor tired feet on grass. What this world does to animals is horendous! I rescue dogs, and can't believe how cruel people can be. During Halloween, there was a nut running around cutting cats in to pieces and putting body parts in peoples yards. If zoos don't have room for large animals, they shouldn't have them. Another place I stay away from is the circus. That is really a joke! We've had alot of news coverage on how elephants are abused to the max by these monsters supposedly taking care of them. Then when an elephant goes on a rampage and kills, whose fault is that?
I have one response about zoos. The tight, cramped conditions in which the animals are forced to live in are marginally better than what the Jews, Gypsys and Poles had to put up with in the concentration camps. In a nutshell, man has not learnt any lessons about inhumane living conditions.

Please give the animals the space they need. And then some.
GIVE THEM FREEDOM! ZOOS ARE NOT GREAT! BUT WELL PLEASE GIVE THEM MORE SPACE TO LIVE!!
