I don't get how some people can possibly think Twilight is better. Harry Potter is much more exciting and addicting. WHen I read Harry Potter I couldn't put the book down and was reading 300 pages a day, and it was a school day. And each book just got better. When I read Twilight though, I didn't feel nearly as excited as in Harry Potter. Twilight never got me thinking about it and trying to guess what was going to happen next. Although in Harry Potter when I was reading the Goblet of Fire it was incredibly exciting even though I had already seen the movie, towards the end I literally started shaking with excitment, no kidding!

First of all, Twilight (T) is a romance series while Harry Potter (HP) is action/fantasy. Also, T is not meant to be compared to HP. T is supposed to be the type of book that you read, and suddenly notice you're on page 500. "How did I get on page 500?" you say to yourself. "I've only been reading for-" you look at your watch- "3 hours? What the?" whereas HP is meant to be a deep book that you can read repeatedly and get more out of it each time.

(And about the "hot guys" thing: Hot guys do not determine how good a book is.)

I don't like the Harry Potter books at all but I do like the movies. These 2 cannot even be compared... A romance and an action/magic book are two totally different categories. Regardless of that there is no book that you can compare to Twilight to...It's a masterpiece.

How could you ever enen think about hating Twlight?!?! Yeah Harry Potter is a good book series but it has nothing on Twlight!!! Anyway, JK Rowling is so stuck up! Stephenine Meyer is soooo much better!!!

You just can't beat it. I grew up with HP and I find Twilight rather predictable even though I like it and own all the books. My younger sister and I have gotten into many heated discussions on this topic.
I don't understand how you could find Twilight more interesting, I mean Harry Potter is a masterpiece :P with all the sub plots and foreshadowing and all the meaning behind everything, I also like the Parallels made with the real world and history.
I try not to compare the two series because they are very different but lets face facts, if I had to choose only one to exist then there'd be no competition, I wouldn't even have to think about it the answer would be HARRY POTTER!

TWILIGHT!!!!!!! i tried to read the Harry Potter series, but it did NOT hold me. I like the movies tho. Twilight on the other hand DID hold me!!!!!!! i read it in one day!!!!!!!!!

I like Harry Potter dont get me wrong. But you have put there hot guys and i just wanted to know what hot guys? Arent there hot guys in twilight have you read it. It is more than just the vampires and the werewolves its the story behind it. Give it a go. Have a read.

i think twilight is WAY better than harry potter could ever be......i'm just saying this is a love story no one will ever forget....in harry potter, the love stories in there people will forget them down the road....VAMPIRES are the best

at first i didnt think i would like twlight because when people explained it to me it sounded stupid but when i finally read it i loved it!!!!!! so much better than harry potter!!!!!

i started a HPr but when my friend Sari (Shari) gave me twilight for Xmas i was instantaliously hooked...a few months before i was goin to buy it but was waiting...

well duh twilight it is much more dramatic, funny, and romantic and i love that stuff it's perfect
