This is a campagain to have all dogs microchipped, microchipping does not hurt the dog it is just a wee bar code underneath its skin then if the dog gets lost and is handed into a vets or a dog home they can scan him and then see that he belongs to you.

If there is a dogs trust in your area they will microchip your dog for free, im not sure if any other charties do this but dogs trust help out with this.

What if you don't have the money to get them microchipped? The economy is getting really bad and people don't have that extra money to do that extra stuff. My dog goes missing all the time..everyone in my small town knows the dog and me so he will rather come back on his own or they will bring him back. I'm not saying that its a bad idea..cause I love the idea...I'm just saying that people might not have the money to do it with.
