What happened to poor Logan is horrible. I can't even fathom someone hurting my child. I would risk the rest of my life in jail if someone hurt my child. To think that someone would possibly let this woman out of jail is disgusting. She needs to rot along with Michael Merrifield and his parents. Dr. Merrifield and his wife knew about the abuse and did nothing to protect him and they just got a slap on the wrist. Pepper Eren needs to stay in jail so she can't hurt anyone else.

i work at the lakin correctional center in the housing unit where pepper eren resides.at first i did not know her crime i did not think it was that bad she seemed like a nice person BUT I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW SHE WALKS AROUND LIKE SHES A HAPPY PERSON WITHOUT A CARE IN THE WORLD AND ITS LIKE SHES IN THE HOLIDAY INN SHE SHOULD BE PUT TO DEAYH OR REQUIRED TO BE ON LOCKDOWN FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE TRUST ME BEING THERE ISNT **** FOR WHAT HER POOR SON WENT THROUGH AND I CANT STAND TO LOOK AT HER BUT ITS NOT PLACE TO TRET HER LIKE **** I HAVE TO CATER TO HER NEEDS ITS DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I heard about this horrible thing, I just cried. I cannot imagine how someone could do something like this to such an innoncent little ANGEL. She and her family have more accountability for this than the news relayed. So at the least she should be held to the boy friend's sentencing.

i am a grandmother of 3 wonderfull boys and i would not choose to let any thing not even money or job or home stop me from makeing sure they are safe the grandmothers of this child i hope god gets them to they was not there for him untill after he passed away and the mother should never get out of jail she did not care about logan at all i have one daughter that is mentall impaired i help her she with me allways and so are her to kids wich i have coustday of one of them!but to help her be a better mom to them i am there no matter the cost i am single and make sure i am with them at all times no matter the cost i am there allways untill god takes me away

I am a mother of 2 daughters and it sickens me to think of what that poor little boy went through and that his own mother let it happen. I think she should have not been allowed to testify against him for a lighter sentence and reduced charges. To me, she is just as guilty because she would have had to known something was going on if she was any kind of mother at all. I know everything about my girls, because as a mother, it is my job to know everything and to protect them with every bone in my body. You can guarentee one thing, if anyone ever touched one of my girls, that have had one hell of a bad day.

People who abuse God's creatures and children should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Eligible for parole after serving only one year? Unbelievable!!!!

I can not even describe the pain I feel in my soul when I think about this poor child and the pain he had to endure. No one deserves to die and painful death but especially not an precious child like Logan. My son is 18 months old and if I ever suspected someone was doing something to my son, I'm not sure what I would do, but I sure would not leave my child with that person to go to work or anywhere else for that matter. She deserves to spend every minute of the 10 year sentence in jail. It is too bad they made that deal with her. I am sure they would have been able to convict him without her testimony and then they could have given her life as well, which is what she deserves.

I have cried alot of tears for Logan, I cant get the picture of this baby being abused and beaten out of my head. I have a 3 yr. old grandson whom I would give my own life for. I feel as if his whole family let him down. How could they not know something was going on, they had to have seen the bruises. I know children fall and play and get bruised in the process, but give me a break, bruises from head to toe? Someone turned a blind eye to this baby or they just didnt care. When I see a booboo, as my grandson calls them, I always ask how he got it. Where was Logans daddy when all this abuse was going on? Did he not see his son enough to notice something wasnt right? I believe his mother should get the same punishment as Micheal Merrifield did. After all if she had been a good mother instead of a cold hearted tramp, this baby would probably be home right now playing like a happy little boy should. We must never forget little Logan and the heartbreak this has caused, because sometime somewhere another child will be abused. Please if you ever see or even suspect some child is being abused, call someone immediately. Dont worry that you might make someone mad at you if your wrong, because you may also be right. Love your children with all your heart and sole. Give them an extra hug and kiss everyday, and tell them how much you love, because in this world they are all that really matters. Everyone should remember why Pepper Eren will be out of jail in a couple years. there was no reason for a ple bargain, she would have got the same punishment as Merrifield if she had went to trail.I for one will remember the name of Mark Sorcia next election who let a child killer off with very little punishment.

If this deviant "mother" is ever allowed out of prison, she will likely breed again and again bringing more innocent childern into her sick, evil world. If they turn her loose, she should be sterilized first. Her devient boyfriend will probably get of taste of what he did to Logan, when he goes to prison. Even some hardened criminals have a "code" when it comes to child abuse/murder.

I hope she rots in jail. And I hope everyday that shes in prison that the other inamtes make her life a living hell. She should be forced to be fixed to where she can NEVER EVER have another child. Hell has a hot log waiting for both of these monsters who killed Logan. I hope Pepper has to pull every single day of her 10 yr. sentence!

Pepper Eren needs to stay in jail for life. She should never be given the opportunity of having another child to abuse. She put Merrifield before her child. She knew what was going on, admitting that Dr. Merrifield "Fixed Everything" Put the Merrifields in jail with her, take Dr. Merrifields license so he can't harm another child. He is just as guilty as his son and Pepper Eren. So is his wife. Put them in and throw the key away.
