Is NASA a Waste of Money?28 Votes
Description:In 1958, Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and Space Act to create NASA. NASA has since put a man on the moon, put a space station in orbit, launched missions to the Moon, Mars, the solar system, and beyond, and of course there is the GLAST satellite that YouChoose members were recently involved with. The future of NASA is in question. Do you think it is a waste of tax payers money or do you want to see a man on Mars? Loading People... |

I am not an american citizen. But I think the space investigation, is a debt with the mankind for a country with the resources, technology and determination that the USA possesses.

For those who believe that the future is better discovered than just anticipated, invented than just imagined, the NASA is a symbol of what is possible as in our world and as universal citizens of earth. It is our responsibility to discover, dominate, populate, and most importantly lay a foundation for our children, the future generations to know their future and their universal environment. NASA is a living legacy to humanity.
Seems like a trick question...but we absolutely need NASA. With all the spinoff technologies we recieve from NASA's research, it would be stupid to reduce funding. Statistics say that for every dollar we spend on NASA, we recieve seven dollars in return through spinoff technologies and economic improvments.
Hi! NASA is doing great job in space exploration and other related scientific and technological researches. They are presenting planet earth in the vast universe, how can we stop that movment. Keep it up great work NASA. Thanks! Chittranjan (India)
