Description:

Fox has announced that Joss Whedon's new show, Dollhouse, will be airing on Friday nights at 9 pm.  Fans have pointed out that this is the same time Joss's last show, Firefly, had and it was cancelled.

Many fans are expecting the show to be pulled quickly and another great show by Joss will be lost forever.  What do you think?

They waited until the last possible second to announce that it was getting renewed, and they didn't even order a complete season, only another 13 episodes. I don't think it's the timeslot-- I don't think they have any intention on giving it another chance past this season. It's dead already.
A large portion of Dollhouse viewers are online. Look deeper into those numbers Fox.

Well, I'm just ticked off about the cancellation to free t.v in Australia. I have a million obsessions to Joss's shows and some others that relate back to him, and unless I pay $80 a month for cable, or buy all the dvd's years later when they come out (this is my option), I can't see them. I'm also discovering that bit torrent is useful!! :D

But it;s Joss so it's worth it!! I love and obsess over anything Joss, so this is my new fave!! BRING ON DOLLHOUSE!!

They killed the premiere of this show I'm watching Friday the 13th

THIS SHOW LOOKS COOL, I WILL BE WATCHING IT ON FRIDAY!!!

I truely wish that FOX has changed but honestly I doubt that any network will ever do. The newest cancellation of ABC´s Pushing Daisies proves my point.
I can only watch on the net (from Germany) and unless they finally starting to count those views in, shows that have a high quality standard, are creative and unusual will suffer. BUT my hope is, that from the HUGE worldwide success of Dr. Horribles Sing-Along-Blog, networks MUST have recognized by now, they might not be needed any longer in the future.
I personally would rather give my money to the creators directly than some corporate network. And this way we are in control of any cancellation ourselves. SO lets hope people like Joss Whedon are already planning for an online tv show in the future. They would definitely have my money.

I say that Fox should at least try it because look at all of Joss Whedon's shows before. They have been great!!! You don't know what this show is going to be like and I do want to find out!

It will be following Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which will be moved to fridays when Dollhouse starts. I for one will be watching both. Summer Glau who plays Cameron in SCC also played River in Joss Whedons Firefly/Serenity. This gives Whedon fans another reason to watch fox friday nights
