Description:How many of you are sick and tired of hearing about the government and schools wanting to take God out of school and politics? The founding fathers were Deists. They also wrote the 1st Amendment (Establishment Clause) .. Keep your religion for yourself.
If you include the Christian God than include ALL Gods!! I'm Pagan and I am Tired of only one faith being represented.
Personally... keep religion in your home or place of worship but schools should not preach religion.
ok i dont know about you but im agnostic and I go to school... I dont want a bucnh of people including staff prancing around saying there is only on god and if you dont belive in him you will go burn in hell.... they have different schools for that and if you want to talk about it to staff then go to those schools. its unfair to the people that dont belive in god or belive in something else.
ok well this subject is a sore one at best . A lot of people get very heated over this but in ''my opinion'' what our kids lack now a days is religion. They have no respect, no disaplin and no faith in anything because we started taking religion out of our schools. If you dont celebrate christmas in your house, fine. If you dont do thanksgiving and halloween, ok But why should my kids suffer for that? No one ever asked a jewish kid to buy for a polly anna at school, so why remove it? If they wanted to join in they could, if they didnt that was fine to, but to remove it altogether is crap. Me personally, I think my kids would love to learn what holidays other children celebrate with thier familys. I think all kids should have a better understanding of it. My son once said he wanted to be jewish because his jewish friend got 12 gifts, a different one each day for 12 days. I said, well baby boy, I do think theres much more to it then that but I honestly couldnt teach you it because Im not jewish and I honestly dont know. So bringing religion back into the schools and teaching what others may practice could be a good thing. I know it would be better then what we have now which is nothing !
if you are going to allow one religion in school than you have to allow all religions to be allowed in school. you cant just go around and pick and choose which religion you want in school and which you dont. every one has the freedom to believe in what they want and forcing ones religion on someone is wrong. if you dont want to have someone force thier religion on you dont force it on someone else
This country was founded on the fundamentals of religion (In God We Trust). Why now is he no longer important?

"In God We Trust" was added in the 1950's by the McCartney. If you look at money before then... it isn't there. In the pledge of allegince...same thing... "under God" added in the 50's and not apart of the original pledge. Both should be deleted.
Religion & politics have always been the two most controversial subjects known. Let it be known, I do believe in God. In a public school system with more than a few religions followed, it is hard to determine if it is right or wrong to say the "Our Father" at the beginning of the day, or any prayer for that matter. Your own religion is your own faith whether you choose to have one or not. You shouldn't need it in your government or school to follow it.
WHY DON'T YOU ALL KEEP GOD IN YOUR HEARTS AND LET EVERYONE ELSE DECIDE WHEN, WHERE, HOW AND IF THEY WANT TO PRAY TO WHOEVER IS THEIR GOD? KEEP RELIGION AND STATE S E P A R A T E D!!!
GOD is Our true answer to this world- Our children are taught everything but how to pray- If our nation ever thinks we can survive without God in our system they are very sadly mistaken.
Pray for our schools and government. they need it!

The government has no business banning prayers in the public school system. What happened to freedom of religion? We need to face some facts: Everything but Christianity is acceptable in the public schools. This has nothing to do with the separation of Church and State. It only proves the state of peoples hearts. Everywhere it is preached tolerance, but not so in this case. I pray that Americans will turn their faces back toward God. It doesn't matter where you have come from!

Although I don't necessarily believe all of our nation's students need to learn about God in our schools, I believe that our government specifically trying to take God OUT of school is wrong. Give our students and their parents a chance to decide for themselves!
I want our children to learn about GOD. If you think about it we did not have shooting and stabbings.or anything like that. Children at least thought before they acted. Now most are on drugs and if you look at them wrong they will pull out a gun and shoot you. GOD says if you forsake me, I will forsake you. Fits most of America. We need GOD desperatly. Maybe we can then turn this messed up world around. IN GOD WE TRUST. PUT GOD BACK IN SCHOOLS AND KEEP GOD IN AMERICA. AMERICA WENT DOWNHILL EVER SINCE THEY TOOK GOD OUT OF SCHOOLS.

God=Jesus...He is 3 in 1 person. The father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is only ONE. All the others are made up. Pretty soon we will have all kinds of made up "gods" in schools, and everyone will have an excuse to do evil,...because anything that is a form of God is not of God, it is of Satan. There are only two ways. Good, and evil. Satan appears as an angel of light, looking very satisfying and tempting. He has tricked everyone into thinking things will be better if God is out....he's sure doing a pretty good job. It's SAD!
Pretty soon God will really leave if we don't want him here. Then, LOOK OUT!!!! Look it up in the Bible: (Book of Revelations.)
If pple can pray to Muhammed, why the heck do we have to take God, the Bible, or prayer out of our pledge, or school?! Our forefathers founded this nation upon GOD!!! I thought people wanted everyone to have a "choice?" It's right to remove a Christians choice, but to keep the humanistic choices? I don't think so!!!

your right, all religious people sin. you were born with original sin. putting it back into schools probably wont make a difference, but it could help.

Do whatever makes everyone happy. Instead of saying God. Lets say " In some super natural being we trust." or "One nation under some super natural being". that will solve the problem. that way no one really knows who we are talking about. but if you really had faith in God you wouldnt care. Because with God, all things can happen. Why is this an issue?
God should be kept in school. but the school should do it smart. when they go to pray make it to where all religons can pray to their own God and the athist can keep ther mouths shut. and the country did go bad after they took good out of school think of what will happen it they take it out of the Pledge of Allegiance. we will go even more down hill.
Most of our problems started, as a country, when we stopped allowing prayer in schools. It's not just a coincidence. It's like we signed our own death certificate. We've been rapidly declining morally every year since this happened. I think the evidence is irrefutable. We should stop and think about this, seriously. PUT GOD BACK IN AMERICA!!!
