I submit that GOD begins at home.  Why are the schools being faulted????  What are you NOT teaching your kids at home first and foremost?

I agree. KEEP GOD IN OUR SCHOOLS..... look at the tragedies that are happening as a result of trying God from our schools and life? Growing up, I could have never imagined that society would have ever turned out this way.... school shootings, bringing weapons to school and all that is going on in our time right now was unheard of? Children killing children and so on. The devil is hard at work here trying to destroy our youth and our families!!! We must not let him win!!! I love God and He loves Me, and I am not ashamed to say so.

God does not belong in schools / public institutions, and by reading the previous blogs, it looks like many of His believers should have spent more time on learning to write properly than praying anyway.

Was our country founded on belief in God? Whose God? It certainly wasen't the Native Americans God, was it?

We called them savages and pagens, because their beliefs were differant than ours. Stole their land and forced our religion on them! I wouldn't call that a nation founded on belief in Christ, more like the devil to me. Stop the bs and get real. We don't need those days back again! Keep God private!

America was founded on Christian beliefs and if you seperate church and state this nation will fall apart.  Actually, it's been happening for sometime now and will continue the downward spiral to it's own demise.

If you believe in God then he is with you where ever you go. So pray at your church, and pray at your home, then take him silently to your public places, peace will surley follow. For my faith is different then yours, my prays are prayed diffrently from yours. I do not want to offend you or your family, any more than you would want to offend me and my family. Then left everyone have there differences in private or with their congregation. And do not make me hold a promise on your bible, eihter take my word or don't.

Since God was taken out of schools and public places there has been  enormous accounts of violence and it's no wonder. For those who have such an opposition to having God in schools, Hebrews says it best; it's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

I will state the obvious.....as long as there are tests, there will be God.  However, I know what you are saying and there are so many people saying that we should take God out of the schools that those of us who say God should be left in are not being heard.  I wish we could make our voice heard just as much as they are.  I wish the lovely government that we have would stop letting those "who just want to make all of our lives difficult", tell them what to do and how to run things.  If someone does not want to hear a prayer, leave the room.  LET US PRAY!!!!!!!!  This is suppose to be a free country where we can have the right to do as we wish.  If you people don't like it then move somewhere else where you don't have to listen to us pray to God.  Sorry this is very near and dear to me.  God loves all but some just irritate me.

Our country was founded on a belief in God...and now we wonder why we are having so many problems!  The farther we go away from God, the greater our problems will become.  God Bless Everyone!

Our world is full of opinions and this is mine..   Keep prayers in school.  Give our children something to believe in..  but alas that will never happen.  To many assholes out there stop believing in GOD, JESUS and THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!!!!   So it is left up to the believers to teach thier children at home.  I believe in God and have taught my children the same as I believe.  It used to bother me because I was in 3rd grade when prayer was taken out of school, But judge ye lest ye be judged yourself.  Don't let things like that bother you so bad, If you truley believe in God, then it shouldn't brother you anyway. I say keep praying for the nonbelievers, maybe someday they will see the value of prayer in CHURCH, and if not then that's thier desicion not ours!!!!!

Without God in schools----the violence will only become worse.

I totally agree with keeping God in our schools and in our nation..........The question is, How can they say that he (God) has no place in our schools when  if you ever have to be sworn in  in a court of law you swear to tell the whole truth so help you God.....sounds a little contradictary to me.

As a teacher, I completely disagree.
