In my opion, if William Petersen leaves, the show will go down the tubes. After all he is the star of the show, and even though Catherine is goood, she uses sex appeal wayyyy to much.Grissom uses logic, and when he looks up with those glasses on,well, now that is sexy!! Well I love Grissom and yeah he IS the show and it won't be the same without him, but he will be returning as a special guest star. William Petersen chose to leave to pursue other acting jobs and as a HUGE fan I respect that choice. Just my 2cents Submitted by charla c. on Sun, 09/07/2008 - 00:24
They are not rplacing William Peterson AKA Gil Grissom, he is leaving after ten episodes to pursue other acting Jobs. I am not happy either. He is the reason I started watching it from day one. I wish he would stay, just like I wish they sent Warrick to get dries out instead of killed off. There will be some one new coming in, he is not replacing Grissom. I have seen every episode and own all the seasons. It was bad enough when he was gone for like 3 shows! It won't be the same without the original Grissom! Ive been a loyal CSI since they have started,ive even bought the DVD series. CSI LV CSI NY CSI Ma. Directors and Producers (Jerry B.) should know that changing charicters have always led to the downfall of movies and tvision series.
