Mr. Steinbrenner,

I have been a Yankees fan since I was twelve. I grew up in the Bronx so the Yankees have ALWAYS been my team. The bleachers were 75 cents and to me and my two 12 year old friends it was being in box seats, only better. You speak of Yankee tradition, and rightly so. But part of that tradition is to stick with people and support them for their loyalty and hard work. You have a crop of new and exciting players that will need direction and a skilled mentor. There is no one better than Joe in that capacity. I really am grateful to you for bringing winning back to the Stadium, but I pray that the decision you make about Joe be based on what's best for the whole team. Please, show the class you have and keep Joe Torre.
