Keep Taylor Lautner for New Moon219 Signatures
Intended Recipient:Chris Weitz, director of New Moon and Summit Entertainment Description:New Moon new director, Chris Weitz, is considering a new actor to play in the upcoming movie New Moon! the guy is Michael Copon, and i believe it's a big no no! Taylor Lautner is a great actor and he plays a great Jacob. for those of you who don't know, Copon (pronounced (cope-on)), acted in bring it on, in it to win it, as Penn, and he also acted in several power rangers series as one of the "power rangers", the yellow one i think. anyway, many sources tells he can't act! and he's not really as good Jacob as Taylor. the reason behind this is mainly because Taylor isn't tall enough, but really guys, there are ways to do make someone taller using computer stuff right?!! and it's really disappointing as we're already used to Taylor as Jacob.. so please sign this petition if all twilighters want to keep Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black!!! please spread the news people!! Here's a link to a video on MTV, showing that Taylor had really works hard to stay on New Moon.. He gained 19 pounds, and had guaranteed Chris that he will put on another 10 pounds for the role. i think all his effort should be appreciated. so please! say no to Michael Copon.. I think Taylor Lautner makes an excellent Jacob, he has a similar personality in my opinon and any role changes would throw the entire saga off.

Lautner I think is a really, really good Jacob and I'm not sure I could see anyone else in that role, he is just like Jacob in 'twilight' and I don't think any role changes should be made.

I understand the desire to want an actor who is as big as Stephenie Meyer makes Jacob become in New Moon, but I'm sure Catherine had to have for seen that issue and felt confident about using Taylor Lautner when she cast him. It would be a huge mistake for Chris Weitz if he replaces Lautner. Lucky for him, Twilighters will still attend New Moon with fresh enthusiasm and commitment to the series, which will ultimately not harm Chris, however, I speak for myself when I say that if he does do this I will definitely not have any desire to see any of his other movies and I will feel extremely let down and betrayed as a die-hard Twilight fan. Jacob is a HUGE Twilight character, and because of that Lautner has grown in popularity close to that of Stewart and Pattinson. It is obvious those two should remain the same, as well as with the Cullen family, which should completely show that Lautner should also remain the same! It is outrageous for Chris o even be considering changing the actor for this role. If it were a different series, it would still be an issue, but fans would get over it. But with Twilight? I'm not so sure all of those Team Jacobs will be able to handle it. I'm Team Edward, even, and there is no way I would want a different character. Also, Chris should know this is a very bad idea if he is seriously committed to the series and his job at pleasing the fans. Very well might be career suicide if you betray fans, Chris Weitz. Ok MESA s u're probably not going to get the chance to get with him really so yea...but I really think they should keep taylor as Jacob because the people who have seen the first movie would of already come to identfy him as Jacob black, or well at least I have... but ot my knowledge he's not being cut the director has definantly not said anything about the whole ordeal. But he should really be given the chance to gain the physic needed for the character if he's commited to doing so, it clearly proves he's commited to the cause. GO JACOB!!! GO TWILIGHT!!!

he should stay because hes hot. Also if he gets a little buffer he will be perfect for the part. Also he is a awsome actor and some people wont watch new moon because taylors not in it. It would be confusing for some people since he was in twilight and then if hes not in the rest of the movies.
