Issue:

According to a new study from University of Illinois, Urbana, scientists have found something that not only halts brain shrinkage but actually reverses it, especially in the regions that process memory and higher cognition: Aerobic exercise.

Belief:

As little as three hours a week of brisk walking increases blood flow to the brain and the brain's volume of gray and white matter.

I pledge to...

11 Pledges
Walking 3 hours a week.
10 Pledges

I agree regular exercise and good eating habits prolongs life and improves confidence.

I agree 'use it or lose it' both mental and physical fitness
I always 'subscribed' to the theory that you 'use it or lose it'. Exercise might be good for the body in moderation, but after a hard workout low blood sugar diminishes brain function. I need a minimum of 8 hours sleep for top efficiency.
