Issue:

A dying request from a girl to her pastor was to bury her with a fork in her right hand.

Belief:

In all her years of attending church socials and potluck dinners, she always remember that when the dishes of the main course were being cleared, someone would inevitably lean over and say, 'Keep your fork' It was her favorite part because she knew that something better was coming ... like velvety chocolate cake or deep-dish apple pie, Something wonderful, with substance! So, she just wanted people to see her there in that casket with a fork in her hand and wonder "What's with the fork?" Then she want the pastor to tell them: "Keep your fork ... the best is yet to come."

I think that is one beautiful story!

It's a sweet-sad-beautiful story that gives you the faith that out there something much better waits for you.

that is so sweet!

When I saw the title, I was expecting some big controversy. But instead, I found a nice story. Although, I'd rather be buried with a sharp steak knife, or better yet, a sharp katana to fight off all those stupid demons while on my way back to Heaven.

That's a very nice story, I think when it's my time to die, I'd like to be buried with a fork in my right hand, to remind my family that I am in a better place and I'll be waiting for them there -- all of us one day will meet there with joy and all of us with forks in our right hands.

Mary Beth, that is the sweetest story ever.
